What's The Perfect Gift For You?

Not to sound sappy, but a nice warm hug from a loved one. "Material" wise, I'm very low maintenance.

A partner to help raise my son. He needs a mother figure in his life that I am somewhat lacking in, although try as I do..

Just someone decent to come by, and wants to stick around.

The perfect gift for me is clothing; I don't really ever buy clothing for myself, so it's always needed and appreciated.

Money, a video game I really want, or a UFC/Pride DVD.

Money is good, but the problem with money is that if get, say, $200, and spend it on something, I feel like I spent my money, and not someone's gift. So it's hard for me to spend gifted money on something I really want. I'd rather have a material item, and my perfect gift would be whatever I tell the person to get me when they ask. That way I don't feel like I'm spending my money but I still get the thing I want.

There are tons of stuff that would be perfect, like the games that are missing from my Hideo Kojima Games Collection. A new amplifier for my record player would be nice to.

Like the title says, what is the perfect gift for you? For me it would have to be http://www.japanvideogames.com/Pokemon-Center-Pokedoll-Plush-Doll-Lucari-p/POKEMON-Lucario.htm.

A Lucario plush doll? I'd want several hundred!!

I'd also want one of http://www.newsline.dot.state.mn.us/images/07/feb/14-d6chipper400.jpg or http://www.pipersprecisionproducts.com/images/6mm%20flame%20thrower.JPG to go with the Lucario doll's

Or a 1966 cherry red VW Camper.

Oh...wow.

Look at it this way. After you strip away all the cutesy and kiddie aspects of it, Pokemon is just an animal cruelty simulator.

Perfect gift for me? Money. Then I could buy more things instead of forcing it down to one "perfect" gift.

Just give me a real, working lightsabre and I'm good.

Failing that, money.

Anything that is homemade. Whatever it is. A drawing, wooden object, painting, flowers, meal, birthday cards made on Microsoft Paint, whatever. Gifts that have been bought at a store have no real value for me, while something the person has taken the time to make has a much higher value.

I never ask for gifts on any occasion anyway. If it's my birthday, my favourite gift is simply the presence of my friends. Hmm.. okay.. if we're at a bar, a beer or two is always appreciated.. :D

I have a similar thing. My favorite gift would be something rare and ancient, that had been hidden away in shadowed places smelling of spices from faraway lands... but apart from that, it could be anything.

If you couldn't tell, I haven't found this gift yet.

A cruse to Alaska. It would have to be at least a week, preferably longer.

Well, if it could be anything, I would like someone to give me the powers of a god, that would be pretty swell.

More realistically though, a great gift for me would be a sword or a vintage handgun, I have a deep fascination with weapons of the past.

I am appreciative and delight in what someone gives me. It's the effort of spending time on something for me that counts.
Best presents I ever got were an extension of the garden, and a very old printing of Guy De Montpassant's works. I am simple, plants, seeds, or a book.

True. True.

Also, I'd like a 1969 Shelby Mustang

Money, because I never know what I want until I see it, during which time I promptly throw a large wad of cash on the counter ready to buy it, without first counting to see how much I'm putting down and without looking at the actual price.

Because that's just not as cool.

Unfortunately, unlike in movies, real life does not cut away after a dramatic action, so I'm usually just standing there awkwardly.

$5000000 USD

Half in bills, half in heroin.

All seriousness aside, probably money so that I can be frugal with it.
