What happens when you beat the game on hardcoe all the way through without changing its setting?

All you get is an achievement? No new unique bonus for re-rolling or anything?

You know that's true , I completed it and I was kinda ticked off , so I loaded from my save point , assinated the President , by accident , it was the guns idea not mine , and I now roam the desert in search of XP :D

Ah, it says once you do it you can turn hardcoe on and off at will, along with the achievement. If you don't get the achievement you wont be able to turn hardcoe mode on//off at will. Woopa dee doo.

I was hoping for some sick gear or something with a re-roll. Maybe the armor that's in the trailer. I never was able to get that armor. I am disappoint.

Well if you're on the PC you could always do that yourself when starting a new game. Getting that Ranger armor right at the start would probably svck a lot of fun out of the game, though.

As far as i can tell the ranger armor from the box is pretty bad anyhow, i did'nt check the helmet's weight but i know i armor weighs 5 pounds more then combat armor mk2 and they have the same DT of 20 and the helmet has the same DT of 5 as combat helmet mk2 and most likely weighs more also, about the only reason to use it would be to get into NCR (if your on bad terms with them) bases while having the DT of combat mk2 armor and that it looks somewhat better depending on youe tastes.

Other then that its heavier and offers the same DT of combat mk2 which can be bought from Gun Runners, while the rangers that wear the armor can be hard to find and would either require you getting lucky and one getting killed or you having to kill one yourself.

hardcoe is about the journey anyway. It's a lot more interesting and atmospheric than the standard gameplay (at least compared to fo3, as I will never play fonv without hardcoe). I was surprised they gave you a reward at all.
