On my warrior who uses all ebony, the Boethiah quest was glitched so I couldn't get the Ebony Mail.

On my mage who's a dwemer scholar who uses spells and a dagger, the Arniel's Endeavor quest was glitched so I can't get Keening!

Cone on Bethesda, it's like you didn't even try to fix the bugs.

Wow, bummer. :( An idea, hope it is o.k. to say here. This does not dismiss the problem that u did not get your quest rewards as u should have. But there is a test room, that has these items u mention in it and it would not be cheating if u just went and got those items due u anyway, at least until the bugs are fixed so u can get them the original way. U earned them afterall. U can COC there then COC back to Riverwood to get out. This is the first time i am trying to use a spoiler tag, so i hope it works. { COC QASmoke /} Use without the brackets and slash, if the spolier tag does not appear hidden.( It is actually well-known, so may not need one, but i am trying one out on it , and i can not go back out and look for the how-to on that without losing the post.) Or If my entry does not appear right, just google the net, for the 'test room' in Skyrim to find it. The room is similar to the ToddTest room in Morrowind, except u will be alone in there. Good Luck. ;) If they did not want us to be able to go there in an emergency like yours, i do not think they would have left it in the game. These test rooms can be game-savers if the item u were supposed to get (and did not) is important enough. If anybody else sees this tho and thinks to take unknown objects there, be careful of that temptation, because i heard (that unlike the test-room in Morrowind) some things( like 'The Briar Heart' for example) will keep u from getting a quest to get it if u already have it in your inventory. Be very careful about taking anything from that room, that u did not already earn. It is safe to use the smithing, enchanting and alchemy tables in the test room tho, as far as i know as long as u do so normally as u would anywhere else in the game. :) i hope that helps u.

I still feel bad about killing Paarthurnax for the Blades. Shouldn't have done that.

To me this would be one of the saddest things i could be asked to do also. So many gamers said they do not like being asked to kill Paarthurnax, that we are not alone in that feeling. I am actually thinking about NOT killing him, when the time comes.

Another sad thing, is there is a criminal quest to kill a Bride somewhere. Geez that is so treacherous and sad sounding. And how they say, she tries to run so fast for her life must make it harder. I do not know if i will be able to go through with that one, if the time comes either.

I do not mind fighting enemies...but...The things u come across can be sad, however the bad things that cause such sadness, that u are actually told to do yourself, could certainly be even harder. :(

Id have to say the Lighthouse one really got to me, I ended up going on a rampage and killed everything I found in there as quickly and violently as possible...

Another one, wasnt a quest though and I may be off a little bit, but somewhere between Dawnstar and Winterhold along the water I had found this little makeshift shelter thing with a skeleton and a diary. I believe he was waiting for his wife or girlfriend to return. After giving up on my search for her remains hoping that she found him and they died together, I continued my way and eventually found a little boat a fair distance away from the shelter I had found with her body.... I guess something must have happened to her boat, musta hit an iceburg and probably was attacked by some creature. Kinda felt bad that they were unable to reunite =(

Ill go back later and look for this location and double check what happened.

That one pulls on my heartstrings too! :(

I think the saddest thing is the Falmer, I mean just some friendly Elves being Elves, Meet some Men, have a bit of fun with them. Oh no! They're under attack?! Sweet, sided with the Dwarves. Oh what?! Slavery and Torture?! No way?! Blind and Forever underground?!

That's how I see it. I'd love to just hang with Falmer all day and talk to them.

I found a girl who was floating dead in a small pond just north of Markarth. Next to the pond were her clothes and her journal. It said something like "I love going to the pond. Dad says that it's dangerous, but I haven't seen anyone. I told him I'd stop going, but just one more time."

I stood there for a minute and had a small moment of silence.

These forums. Hah, just kidding. But seriously... After I cleared a giant camp. I found a boulder the size of a small cabin squishing the lower half of some poor guy's skeletal remains.

One of the sad facts of life is that pathalogical stupidity and leadership are virtually inseparable - and we all pay a heavy price for it. In the case of Skyrim, any emperor in a position of weakness but, at least, with a quarter of a brain (maybe in his knee), would have let Skyrim secede, pulled the troops back to reinforce the remaining (and now shorter easier to hold) imperial borders and told the Thalmor it was their problem - so as to let the enemy spread his troops thin, instead of doing it for him. I think that having an idiot emperor in the game is pure realism - as are the very sad consequences. Well done Bethesda!
.
Strange how the saddest things are often complex enough to evoke mixed emotions...

A lot of people mention the lighthouse in which all the daries are found in. I didn't find it a particulalry heart-wrenching moment (in fact I'm having a hard time thinking of a single heart-wrenching moment in Skyrim). To the credit of Bethesda though, the Falmer themselves do have a harsh history, which makes it understandable that they can really define the Falmer as being what they are: completely deticated to the eradication of the surface. That's really satisfying for me to see.

I was exploring the areas around Winterhold near the coastline, I discovered a skeleton with his leg stuck in a bear trap and another skeleton posed in a way that was trying to help him with a potion of healing if I recall =(

Tova Shatter Shield.

Driven to drink and despair after one of her twin daughters is brutally murdered by the butcher.

Her other daughter becomes an optional target in a Dark Brotherhood quest and if you kill her, the mother will commit suicide.

Was outside Windhelm along the river when a pair of blood dragons decide to swoop in. Thought I was screwed but a guard joined me in fighting them. A long battle ensues that takes around 5 minutes and we finally kill them both. Guard starts walking back to his patrol route and gets mauled by a frost troll. I still have his gear on one of the mannequins in Solitude as a shrine. Arrows to the knee, Dragons, and Curved Swords couldn't stop him. Poor bastard.

Not sure if this one is said yet, but I came upon a wagon that was destroyed, with of all things, FALMER arrows everywhere (this was above-ground)

There was a note on one of the bodies, and apparently the wife was worried about the husband traveling in "these times", so she came with, because "if they die, they die together".

Well, they did. On the side of the road, to Falmer, apparently.
