Animatioms can sometimes be wonky when the enemy is on a diff elevation, or when you trigger a certain set of finishers at the max hit range, but it is nothing to be worried about.
I have it happen ever once in a while- and i have dance of death mod so every single kill has a finisher move. It just happens because the animations are set sequences and are not taking outside factors into the effects.
