What they have did to one-handed in 1.5 ?!

Since 1.5 patch arrived I have played only with two characters - one archer and one battle-axe user. I was very glad to have the new finishers of the patch. Now I created new one to use one-handed sword. Well I'm surprised how finishers with it looks now. For this far I haven't seen the previous finishers yet (those were awesome ones) are they still in the game? And new ones are ugly: Sword doesn't touch enemy at all, they doesn't sound right, they are too fast, line of movement doesn't seem natural and there's no blood in them. Are them supposed to look like this or is it a bug?

I seriously laughed for several minutes at that. But to answer your question, no I haven't encountered any bugs with the new animations. They seem to work fine for me.

So you see the blade going inside the enemy - not just swinging it at front of him? And you see blood too?

It happens sometimes for all the kill moves where it seems the blades don't connect with the target. It happens very rarely for me though. I don't think there is a problem with the new ones.

I encountered seven finishers, all new ones and all had this problem. It have never happened to me before. I thought they spoiled the one handed sword finishers with the update.

Maybe try clearing cache and redownloading the patch. Nobody wants to hear this but you could also try starting a new character. See if it's fixed.

The whole issue started when I created a new character. No problems with that patch before but the newest character is using one handed swords which seems not to work as well as it did before the patch.

Animatioms can sometimes be wonky when the enemy is on a diff elevation, or when you trigger a certain set of finishers at the max hit range, but it is nothing to be worried about.

I have it happen ever once in a while- and i have dance of death mod so every single kill has a finisher move. It just happens because the animations are set sequences and are not taking outside factors into the effects.

Sometimes a kill move is activated but it's not actually being done to the enemy. I've had slit throats in mid-air and then seeing a guy in front drop dead haha. Sometimes he stabs the sword in mid-air too.

It's called a thread. Not threat. Lol. But yeah its just a wonky system that works most of the time. There are many variables that, like the other guy said, just aren't taken into account.
