I assume it will show up on Steam as well, but they aren't promoting it and other big releases that day might mean it won't be a priority for them.

Steam doesn't "promote" DLC releases until they're out. It'll be up the minute they are authorized to make it live. Relax.

Usually they release a time when the DLC will be available for download?

have they done this with Honest Hearts? Is it 12 midnight or something like that? or have they not anounced a time?

Yes to some people. Maybe they wanna download it early go to sleep, then play in the morning. Does it matter if you ask?

what is difference if you play it this morning or next morning if release date is 1 day later you would play 1 day later anyway

I'll dl it Tues night, or maybe Weds night,.. depends on what I'm doing at the time. I will check on the forums to see if there any major problems before dling it first. I still remember the Operation Anchorage disaster.... took nearly a week for them to fix that.

I'll assume after Gstaff has his morning coffee that he'll come by and tell us what time it'll come out for the different systems and the update with what's going to happen with the PS3 version of Honest Hearts since it might be delayed due to Sony being stupidly hacked by Mudkip Haters.

Always seems random to me.
People like to do predictions on when it will come out by comparing to other DLC releases but it's always different.
So when will it become active?
I don't think anyone here knows that, we'll just have to wait for the thread on the forums that says "HONEST HEARTS IS RELEASED!!!1!one!" to come up.

i agree. i'm gonna sit and wait for someone to scream "DLC!!!" on the forums and jump to the controller. (I play Xbox).

For steam:

Whenever your time zone hits midnight, if you go by how Dead Money was released. So in theory, Australian players are probably already playing Honest Hearts...

Just a sly question, do they release at one time for everybody or a certain time for a timezone? Like I'd get it at say.. 5am here but it'd be midnight still on the east coast if you know what I mean.

I hope the psn store is back up by the end of the week because I know I'll go crazy waiting too long. Good thing LA Noire comes out tomorrow too, so I'll be somewhat at easy. I know I will be checking everyday for any news on the matter. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!! :gun:

I Imagine so, I checked on my xbox half an hour ago and nothing was up. Im in the UK by the way and I expect it will probably not be up for 24 hours after the yankedoodledoos get it unless I read otherwise.

Almost the 18th here still no sign of Honest Hearts on the 360. Maybe the hackers that took down PSN have hacked the 360 servers and stolen all the dlc from us.

Anyway ill keep my eyes peeled and when it does finally come up ill post here while its downloading.
