What was your "gag!" moment?

Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 8:21 pm

Well, at least we're not eating Diamonds anymore. Still, there's plenty of cool things to eat. How about Human Flesh and Heart, even if you're not worshiping Namira? :goodjob:

I'd rather eat a pearl then a giants toe..

The greatest gag moment was dog meat however, I just feel sorry for those animals. It's also why I love Kyne's Peace so much, if I can avoid killing dogs I will.

Killing the two thugs in -you-know-where- only to get to this obnoxious guild in Liften, or Swiften, or was it Niften? No, wait, it was three thugs and it was in the mouse way.*) Anyhow, they had names...real names! *shudder*

*) I hope I did not spoil anyone's reading.

eating pearls... bleh

Duh, forgot that they were ingredients and not misc stuff. :) I think I've only seen like two pearls ever, though... They seem pretty rare.

Come to think of it, the game is pretty macabre per se. Everything from embalming to torture tools to eating whatever flesh to worshiping deities who want you to eat even more flesh or beat someone to death, then again into submission... I don't find being inside a mad Emperor's head or a soul gem that nice, either. Nor would I still marry a Hagraven, no matter how drunk I was! :yuck:

Just ran into my first Mammoth Cheese creamery after killing a giant yesterday... have to say, I can take a thousand caves full of blood and gore and burned heads on stakes and bloody ribcages scattered all over... but the thought of virtually eating (or even touching) that 'cheese', made me pause.

I was attacked by some nameless Imperial (I think), and afterwards I found a human heart in their inventory, which was an alchemy item. Since my Nord is an alchemist and wanted to see what potions it could be used with, he...ate it. My Nord doesn't just slay those who attack him, he eats their hearts. He is a werewolf, but I thought that was grose.

As my Nord is a lv 95+ alchemist, he has eaten many items from hearts to giants toes and everything in between, which has made me not want to know what must have tasted like.

Mine was when I couldn't progress any further in the game after spending 100+ hours on my first character, all due to a gamebreaking glitch that simply prevented me from continuing the storyline. Storyline was also a huge gag so I guess in the end it wasn't that big of a deal.

Good programming/writing, I like!

never really gagged at anything and I've seen pretty, much everything. My "gag" moment might have been when I accidentaly married an ugly Orc male with my perfect Altmer male...

For me it'd probably be consecutively when I found a number of expedition members in a dwemer ruin, corpses half eaten
and human flesh hanging about, with falmer near. It all reminded me of a certain Alien series movie which I'd rather forget.

Namira's quest. Especially when you realise that you know half the people at the table and even liked some them. Blegh.

The only one that came close to a "gag" moment was the giant's toe. Didn't do the cannibal quest yet though. I know some people won't like this but I've eaten dog meat in real life (I lived and worked in Southeast Asia for over a year) so I can't say it bothers me in the game...

I gaged a bit when I ate my first human heart and also when I looked very closely at the stump of a bandit's neck.
