Nope, micro[censored] REUFSES to do it.

thats why TF2 on the xbox has had almost zero updates unlike the PC version which has had like 500. Valve refuses to make people pay for DLC and Mircosoft rufses to give it away for free even if the games own devs want it so.

Mirco$oft
False: There has been plenty of free DLC on the Xbox. Maybe not a continuous stream of free content but there are a lot of free downloads for many different games. While Microsoft isn't exactly giving everything away, pretending that they're the big bad boogie man behind the lack of free content on consoles isn't exactly true.

consdiering literally 0 of the Tf2 updates have made it through and Valve, VALVE could barely get micro$oft to let them do one of the Portal 2 DLC for free, I would be spried how much luck other have had.

Valve has Steam money and mircosoft still bbarely budged.

Why does everyone think they're entitled to free content? Just because you bought the game doesn't mean anything made for it after the fact is yours. This whole mentality is what caused the whole "Occupy" movement. Stupid lazy [censored]s who think they're entitled to everything for free and that they shouldn't work or pay for anything. If you can't afford something work harder or longer. If you refuse to buy DLC because you won't pay, well, no one cares.

I have bought and payed for every add-on to every game I own on Xbox 360 and I haven't once felt cheated or ripped off. I also never felt that MS or the game's developer/publisher owed me anything for free. DLC keeps things fresh and it also costs other people their time and resources to create. If you're too cheap to pay for it don't [censored] about it. If you think you could do it better buy a PC and mod it in yourself. I bet you after you're done the time you wasted creating your free mod could've been spent making the $5-10 it cost for the DLC in the first place.

EDIT: I would like to see Bethesda add some completely new sets of armor or weapons. This does not include "unique" armor or weapons that have been enchanted. Dragon weapons would be cool also. New areas and quests are always nice as well.

I got to the part where you mention Occupy and realize you're an ignorant ass.

Where do you draw a line as to what should have been in the game and not? All items in preivous games? As long as item count in skyrim more than oblivion? Total texture/mesh size of all unique models? Total man-hours spend?

After answering the above now, if I made a golden axe and call it goldbrandy. Would you buy it as opposed to a golden sword called goldbrand?

My own answer will be this, I expect new quests from DLC. And I don't care if the reward is goldbrand or goldbrandy as long as the quest is fun. I will not "demand" free items nor will I purchase a DLC if it solely provides a home or a weapon or other virtual stuff that gets boring within 30 minutes.

I do not believe I am entitled to free DLC, but I can see how you would come to that conclusion. The thing is, if/when Bethesda releases items for DLC, we WILL have to pay for it. I would rather them NOT RELEASE ANY ITEMS than them try to make money off of it. If it is an Expansion, then it should include new items, okay. But an ITEM ONLY DLC should not be made. I don't care if it is old stuff added to Skyrim, or new stuff. It would be nothing but a money grab, which IMO Bethesda does enough already.

I like the stuff from morrowind...it'd make sense, since there is such an influx of dunmer in skyrim...why would'nt they bring their goods and use their crafting talents. Specifically chitin and bonemold (or is it bonemeld) armor....and the uncanny ability to wear robes over armor! Still think morrowind was the most flavorful of the last 3 TES.

Edit: +1 Spears! And they should make armor variants for the goofier looking sets...Why cant i make sleek looking daedric w/o spiky shoulders! Maybe its just me.

Would love a wider variety of robes, clothes, multiple designs for the various armors rather than having just one (ex: Daedric with a sleek look, rather than devilish look, or a Dwemer Open Helm, etc..), a Vamp questline, expansions to existing questlines, new shouts, A MUCH WIDER VARIETY OF SPELLS (I'm talking 2-3 new spells for each level here), some tweaking and rebalancing, fletching, and of course a new area to check out.

I expect a lot from the first expansion. As for individual DLC, it'd better be full sets of things, or entirely new weapon types - such as spears and halberds. Oh, oh! Or one that replaces Lockpicking with something useful! We could have acrobatics, but in a different style! Like, it'd lessen the amount of stamina drain when you run, and give you different tumbling options (no higher jumping, though - sorry guys, don't wanna break the game. Less damage from falls is okay, though).

I know most of it's not gear, but... I want much more than gear from DLC.
