You mean the bottom of the barrel for topics? How so?
EDIT: My dump stat will probably be endurance. Seems kind of useless, and I like it if my character is vulnerable to damage and the environment, since in FO3 and New Vegas it was too hard to die.

If all the stats have equal worth as I hope they do, I'll go with AGI 1 should I buy the game. Probably doing Todd's E3 stats.
I didn't realize so many people did so many different things, I expected it to be 90% intelligence. I guess you learn something new everyday. My dump stat is nearly always Int because I'm a freak about missing out on checks and if you think about it, most of them have to do with your skills. Thus the best way to pass the most checks is to have the most skills points. Buuuuutt, they have a new skill system I don't understand so my plans might be screwed up.
Eh, "dump stat" is the one that you put low points into, to free up points for important things. Like Int.
edit:
Ohhhhhhh. I..um..am slightly embarrassed. I though dump as in dump a lot of points in to. My bad.
Well, in that case, strength. Melee has been useless so far and I nearly never use heavy weapons.
Can't really answer this because we don't know the perks or the full effects of these stats. Right now I would probably go with Luck being a dump stat but we just don't know.
I'm thinking that since a lot of objects will be useful for creating other things, and the fact that in real-life I'm a packrat, I'll probably not gimp Strength.
I'll probably gimp my Perception.
But I'll need to see more numbers and how it works with the new game. So I might just experiment with my first dude, and then restart the game when I'm a couple hours in and figure out what's going on.
For my first playthrough I tend to have a balanced character. So all will be even. After that it's usually Strength that gets dropped first.
A stupid character is always funny.
I always go all out on luck, usually endurance/stamina too, then ignore everything else.
Endurance was my dump stat for 3 and NV, and unless stuff changes radically it will probably be my dump stat for 4. Strength is nice for the carry capacity, damage and melee attacks, Perception can never be low because I love energy weapons, Int is always close to max for the skill points (though that might change for this game), Agi is nice for more time in VATS, and luck is sort of a secondary dump stat, but I don't like it being dirt low.
Having a low endurance doesn't do much other than give you low hit points, which I like as it ups the difficulty a bit and feels a bit more realistic (soaking up hundreds of bullets just feels a bit too cruse control for easy, ya know?)
I won't have one. I'll be choosing my stats carefully based on the perks available and then increasing my stats during the game if there are some minimum requirements I don't meet.
Depends on the perks. My first time around i'll probably make a balanced character. Although i'll probably lower strength as i don't see my self doing a lot of melee combat
I'll be keeping everything about even but i'll try to main Luck & Intelligence though, I don't really have a dump stat to be honest.
First playthrough since I would gimp strength and use a companion as my walking storage bin. Pretty sure charisma will be more important this time around than in 3.
I chose intelligence, because I always like to roleplay as a scientist or someone with magnanimous amounts of knowledge and smarts.
Mainly because I always wanted to be a scientist but my life has lead me down the path of humanities. So I get to feel tech-smart for once!
I picked Other. The stats will always vary based on the character and quite often it comes to me at character creation screen. I might also be playing 5 characters at the same time. Playing one character for a few hours and then switch to another.
Strength. The int, and cha skills seem so enticing with the focus on narrative that I can't pass them up. I don't want to miss out on Luck (lots of shooting, means lots of crits). Agility and Endurance I don't want to sacrifice too much for what will be more complicated shooting scenarios. The only thing I'm left with is Strength. Hopefully we can have labelled chests in our settlements and that way we won't have to carry too much, in which case unless there's something we'll miss out on that'll surprise us, then Strength will be dump. Sorry Strength.
