What to do with all my gold?

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 3:56 am

I'm level 30 and have about 75,000 gold pieces. I'm roughly half way through the main quest - been mostly working side quests and guilds.

My manor in Solitude is maxed, as is one of my guild houses (trying not to be too spoily). I have all the gear (potions, soulgems, armor, weapons, etc.) I might ever need, at least so far.

I guess I'm wondering if I should just stop looting bodies for gold or if there might be things later where I'll want to spend gold? Gold seems to come really easily in Skyrim...I remember in Oblivion it was a lot more play before I had mansions maxed.

Other than perhaps blowing my gold on trainers, I'm not sure if there's anything else to do with it...?

Well a adventurer went though all the trouble putting gold in dungeons. Perhaps you can become his/her successor?

Give it to the poor. go into random houses and put gold in peoples cabinets it will be a nice surprise for them

Have you bought houses in Markarth, Windhelm, Riften and Whiterun? If not.. then buy these houses, just enough for you to spend that gold. If yes.. try drowning the beggars from the town with gold 'till they become rich.

Get 25,000 more for the achievement, then perhaps buy all the homes you can. After that, you may begin to use your gold coins as lethal projectile weapons.

Just store it up and admire the huge stack of gold there; i've been selling enchanting items and gotten about 300k now, it just looks nice sitting there :D

not sure about gold but if you drop stuff like armor or weapons people will fight for it

use your money on trainers and it will be gone in no time

Thanks for the info. I must drop something in Riften. >

To the topic creator, get 100,000 gold for the achievement first, then buy a house. All the money will leak out of you in no time.
