What would be a good character to roll now?

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 1:39 pm

Admittedly, I haven't played Skyrim in a few months. I'd like to roll a new character for Dawnguard, but I'm also considering simply waiting for the dlc to be released (which svcks because I'm on PC so I have 2 months). From what I've seen the vampire lord is mostly a magic user/caster with basic melee attacks and the Dawnguard are ranged using crossbows. Should I wait and start fresh with the dlc or start a new character? For the record, I have no save files right now. Caster for vamps hunter/bow for Dawnguard?

im making a character who uses archery and magic. So when Dawnguard comes out I can use crossbows and magic.

Interesting, but not really my play style. I like to focus on one aspect be it casting, melee or bows/stealth rather than mix and match and experiment. So I kinda need to choose a side now :)

I want to do this but I find magic too boring...

I went for a Battlemage - one-handed, destruction and heavy armor. It's actually a really fun build, and although I didn't start it specifically for Dawnguard, she could probably do pretty well in it.

I'm a dark elf and they resist 50% of fire...so if you enchant a ring to resist fire you would be good ^_^ plus vampires are 50% resistance to frost

Do it like me...I already have my agenda done for the new version of my favourite character...

From today to the 26 of this month: I'll be with the CK, creating a nice little cozy starting house fit to my tastes.

26 June - 26 July: I'll recreate my main character (and if I still haven't finished my house, then continue doing it).

You got a pen, paper a hat. That's what I use to make random characters. Usually works out really good for me.
