» Tue May 29, 2012 3:09 pm As we all know, all the new features on Skyrim aren't what we thought they would be. I would like to see some of the older features put back into Skyrim. Such as the leveling system...The perks are great and all, but now we can't choose what attributes we would like to boost up. It only gives us three choices of your personality attribute which increases your magicka, and your endurance, which increases both fatigue and health. So basically now, your attributes are automatically chosen for you for each level you gain. So your next level, you get a small boost to all your attributes. I don't like that...So now you can't build a character who you actally want to be. But, the perk system is great.
Another thing that I would like to see changed is the player homes. They're great an all but...there isn't enough storage :/ so now I can't store all my crap in specific containers, now it has to be very broad, so potions, herbs and alchemy equipment all go in one container. Armor and weapons in one container. Amulets, rings, ect. go in one container. In Oblivion the player homes were a lot better in my opinion, there was just more to them. The biggest house you can get in Skyrim is the home in Solitude, I bought every upgrade, and none of the upgrades come with display cases!
Though the auto book stack on shelves is a great improvement! I also don't like the new move objects around feature in Skyrim. When you move objects it's not as free as it were in Oblivion, so when I pick a sword up it doesn't dangle as in Oblivion therefore making displaying items in your house much more difficult!
The questing system isn't so great either...It's good, but I like Oblivions journal more, where it auto matically gives you quest updates. Though I like how now you can't fast travel to all the quest locations, you actually have to venture your way there, making things much more realistic!
Another thing is the Marriage feature. I absolutely love how it's been added to the game but...After you get married, what do you do? You can't do anything with your wife. She just sits in your house and takes [censored] and makes you dinner. Just to add on to what you wife does, she also CHEATS on YOU! It happened to me two times, so I murdered 2 wives and two men that they were with. Third wife now...She's been loyal so far. I would like to see more options with the marriage feature. I wanna be a Mormon!
I also miss the arena...I would like to see the arena again in Skyrim and more improved, the Nords are brutal people so why no arena? I would think they would have built an arena for entertainment purposes. If no arena, why not add a bar fight feature?
But, everyone doesn't just fight you, and your not the one who just has to start it. I just wanna see these two guys arguing then one gets pissed and just svcker punches the other guy. I would pay to just watch that! 
Speaking of the Taverns and Bars in Skyrim. They are so dead...I would like to see them come to life more. The bard for music was a great add-on though. Bring some festivity into it.
It's sad to see no more mages guild or fighters, but I guess that's how the moral of the Elder Scrolls story goes.
Well that's all I so far don't seem to like...This is not a hate message towards Skyrim or the Elder Scrolls games in general, I absolutely love all the Elder Scrolls game, been playing since Morrowind. I will be a supprting Bethesda and Elder Scrolls fan till the day I die. Skyrim is the most beautiful, interesting, and heart racing game I have ever played. I'm basically the "Adoring fan" previously known from Oblivion after beating the Arena quest line.
