what would you like to see in future patches beside bug fixes of course. For us that play on consoles what would you like to see in DLC added?

I would like to see that bards become available to be married and divorce and remarrying an option.

Everything else will be provided by mods.

Amen to that! :)
Even though its very likely there will be unofficial patches ones the CS is released. (just like oblivion)

You know, I've been thinking, just hear me out on this, what if they took horses...

I want the 'dragon priest mask + hoodeed robe = no face' glitch fixed... And the glowing blue eyes after using the Aura Whisper shout have to go too. Now I have a stealth char with glowing eyes and a mage roleplaying a Nazgul. Not good.

I know that's not 'beside bug fixes', but seriously...

It would be cool to see an almost persistent living world develop. Almost like a single player MMORPG.

Perhaps a horse riding skill to make the steed more relevant. The better the skill the faster it goes and the longer it lives. Perhaps some satchels on the horse so the early game encumbered issues are partially or fully solved. Of course, horse combat with certain benefits and limitations.

A food skill and more benefits social uses for food.

A rock climbing skill. slower, but interesting views and less wandering around looking for paths. It could almost be a game within a game.

A fishing skill. Again, a game within a game.

More social interactions, friendships and far more depth to the marriage. Something Bethesda could learn from Dragon age. The wife/husband in game is fairly pointless. Too simple to get married. No divorce? Multiple mates for every city?

A move house command. More house customizing. Let us add some lights. More weapon and armor stands. (Yes some player mods may do this, but I'm not familiar with those, sorry)

Run a business. Let players use their wife/loot to run a store. Let the conversations around the world/region dictate what will sell the best. Perhaps a business/romance for every city.

More uses for money!!!! This is something Bethesda needs to learn to do. Perhaps super expensive mounts, castles, exotic armor, weapons, brides that are unique models that can only be had with a certain amount of coin. Flying mounts...

Oh yes, fix the thieves guild quest! I broke into Honeymeade Inn early in the game and I can not continue the quests. I have done almost everything else and I guess i'll never get to do that quest line. It really blows. How could a play tester have missed that one? If anyone knows a work around, please let me know. I'm 81 and bored....now. :)

Shields on the right hand!!

Otherwise, there's only one 'problem' with a quest I've seen ,and it isn't even breaking. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems
Spoiler
the non-violent way to solve Missing in Action is broken, so if you choose to do it that way, it'll always be in the quest log as failed, and you'll have to steamroll through a bunch of Thalmor alone.

I'd also love to see a FNV-style hardcoe mode (character has to eat/sleep or else suffer debuffs), but I'm trying to rp that. Also, the shadows are really pixelated, so I'd like them smoothed.

patches dont do anything other than fix the content that is already in the game if you want new content you would need to wait for the DLCs

And this too! Bethesda are discriminating lefties :(

Craftable arrows
This is also something I've thought about. Why not give wood a purpose in crafting? Good arrows are too rare, so maybe you could craft them instead?

Oh and one more thing - making an Imperial armor should contribute more to my smithing skill than making a leather helmet!

And this too! Bethesda are discriminating lefties :(

Even though I am a lefty, and I play one, I wouldn't call this discrimination. After all, there's only one well-known game series that features a left handed protagonist, and Nintendo's decided that Link is now right handed with no lefty option since they can't be bothered to make the wii compatible to lefties. That's what I would call discrimination. Bethesda wasn'texpected to, and we got it anyway. I'm really happy about that at least. Yeah, there was one interview which promised the shields in either hand, which I'm disappointed about, but I'm still happy that my Bosmer can be a lefty.

Of course, I'd still like to get my lefty shields and finishers. Why not add more content?

I've even been thinking about the easiest way to do it. I guess stuff in the 'apparel' folder is static, so I think they shoud just make companion shields and add them to the levelled lists. For example, we've got the Iron Shields, so just add in 'Iron Shield (L)', which will auto-equip to the other hand, and allow lefties to use them. They could also add recipes to the forge like 'Iron Shield (L) - requires 1 Iron Shield' so you can just switch hands. The enchanted shields would not be able to convert as easily, but I can enchant my own. The only problem would be the unique shields, like Peryite's Spellbreaker. I guss just add an option box or give us the righty version unless we have a lefty shield equipped.

I think my biggest problem wioth the current setup is that blocking doesn't work AT ALL if there's a weapon in the left hand, so that's an entire skill tree I'm shut out of. Even when I only have a 1h weapon, my right hand will punch, not block; whereas a 1h in the right hand will block when the left button is pushed. I feel I could probably get killed a lot less quickly if there was any way to block damage for me, so that's at the top of my wishlist. Other than that, great game with no other complaints.

pretty much this I say first balance patches and then the quest breaking glitches primarily the guild glitches where you are stuck on that quest

  • Balancing of magicka costs for high level spells, casting a good few expert/master spells without [fortify magic school] is impractical.
  • Improve the effects of alteration flesh armors. At the moment I can use ebony flesh with non-armor, 300 armor rating for 3 mins (with the duration and mage armor perks). I can use dragonhide master spell for 99 seconds dual casted, it gives me 80% damage resist. This isn't long enough, IMO ebony flesh should give you 400-450 armor rating for 8-10mins with the perks, and dragonhide should last for 3-4 mins.
  • Also give some advantage to mages using robes instead of armor, I do it anyway for the challenge but I would like a benefit. Maybe add some perks in the alteration tree, that reduce spell costs for all schools by 10%, then 20% when not wearing armor. Also magicka regen rate+, and movement speed+.
  • Improve the extent the destruction perks increase damage, at the moment you get 25% then 50% for the element you perk. I think it should be 20/40/60/80/100% like the 1h, 2h and archery perks. This damage increase would be for all elements so you would need 5 perks to improve them all (like the other combat skills). I don't think they should scale destruction damage, I use it on master without to much hassle already (level 59) and they will likely make it overpowered if they scale it.
  • Addition of more manipulation illusion spells, move invisibility and muffle to alteration as its more plausible. If invisibility made you invisible to one enemy, then it would be okay, but it is to everyone so alteration (changing the physical aspect of the world) is more plausible.
  • 1h, 2h and archery should have a stamina cost to do anything, so if you swing your weapon it should cost stamina, if you pull the string back on your bow it should cost stamina. Then the enchantments that +damage for them should be changed to reduce stamina cost. This would stop the making of insanely powerful weapons. They did this with blocking, you can't block without stamina so why shouldn't it be done with weapons. This would add some complexity to the otherwise mundane hack and slash combat system.
  • Reducing of magicka cost for a certain magic school (and weapons with stamina if point 6 is used), should be caped at 85% so you can't have 100% reduction, this is a ridiculous exploit of the game mechanics.
  • Removal of the fortify enchanting potion, so you can't do the alchemy/enchanting loop. You can still make powerful weapons/armor using +alchemy gear, then making fortify smithing potion (which they could remove to possibly) combined with +smithing gear.

Fleshing out the factions. There is a huge mass of gaming goodness just waiting there to be used for quest lines. For example, I have favored both sides of the civil war, travel into the aligned cities, villages, and camps doing quests and buying/selling with no outright violence(unless I start it) and no real consequence. And on top of that I am still killing every Thalmor I come across. Nothing there either. Well, they have sent hit squads after me....but, eh, like I said, nothing there either. You come after me with only a handful of troops and a caster and it just means I need to hit a camp real quick to sell more gear. I have done things in quests (thieves or shadow) that should have bothered SOMEONE, yet I can freely walk up to leaders of either faction with no difficulty.

See what I mean, all through there is many many ways faction should have tripped me up, and just.....nothing......well, I hope it is something that mods can address. There is one positive out of it all I guess. I have lots of places to dump Thalmor gear, if I started losing vendors due to faction, I would clean everyone out in the entire country that I could get to which would kinda svck. Eh, I guess I would just leave the gear to rot. I certainly am not going to stop killing those fascist Thalmors!!

I want 1,2,3,4, and 7 and maybe a modified 6 instead damage should relate to stamina
