I've been the leader of the Thieves Guild for a while now. When I enter the Ratway, the guy still says "Even if you're one of us, you better not make trouble."
Sorry, what? I'm your leader, how can you say stuff like that?

Delvin, who always sits and speaks in his redneck accent still says "Brynjolf, eh? Let me guess, he just plucked you off the street..."
Excuse me? I'm your superior.

Then we have the bartender and Vex who still are rude and act indifferent to my actions.
I mean, even Oblivion had special greetings for the Guild Leader!

I havent gotten GL of thieves guild, but are you sure you've completed all the quests to become GL? You have to do some side quests from Vex and Delvin to "restore the guild". After this, I think you become the guild leader, and you might get some special greetings then.

Do you have the Guildmasters armor? No?
Your not officially then, although they should still greet you with a bit of respect, you ARE a Nightengale after all....

They don't, and shouldn't know you are a nightingale.

That's not the real concern here. I think he sounds like a filthy farmer, but the problem is the AI.

they should? the leader of the thieves guild is supposed to be mysterious... not some guy everyone knows and recognizes...

I realize I'm straying far from the actual topic at hand, but I just couldn't resist. Delvin speaks in a cockney dialect, working class from London. All game developers are legally required to have at least one cockney with questionable views of ownerships in all their games ^^

1) if you want everyone to know who you are you are the worst thief EVER and no thief would ever show you respect
2) they are thieves? why would they show anyone respect?
