I'm on the Xbox, and ages ago Alvor the blacksmith in Riverwood was killed by a dragon(I may have accidentally hit him with an arrow, I'm not actually sure), but his body stayed there for ages. Until I dragged it to the river and set him adrift...had to keep adjusting his trajectory as he kept washing up on the shore..eventually once he went over the waterfall I left him....he could be sailing around the waters of Skyrim as we speak, or alternatively, he could be lodged in a crevice. Anyway, do you just leave them, use a console command(if PC) to get rid, or are you a creative disposer of cadavers?

I just leave them there and laugh whenever I walk by.

Mmm... when I came accross one, I decided to dump them in the nearby river, just under a waterfall.

I did for a while, but after the 40th time I saw his wife express surprise over finding his corpse...it got old.

I raise them and then I kill them again.

Do bodies dissapear if you stay out of the cell they're in for a certain amount of time? You could try that. Maybe he won't go away because you keep entering the cell.

well if there powerfull enemies and your a conjurer/ necromancer , then use dead thrall spell on them and keep them as a permanent thrall

there Nordic like me so i do my best to set a pyre even if they don't turn to ash its still a way to send them off if there an ally. if there an enemy i simply leave them to rot

Hmm, I've spent significant times out of the cell before, like an in game week, but I usually go back to Riverwood to sell all my stuff as the shop has the most money. Don't know how long I need to stay out of there though.

The only magic I use really are fire/ice, and enchanting magic! Doesn't really fit with my play style...plus Alvor is now floating naked along a river...I'd have to find him.
