Post » Tue Jul 05, 2011 1:37 am

My plans include watching my counties fireworks show, hanging out with some friends, and lighting a few cheap fireworks like groundflowers, pop-bottle rockets, and firecrackers.

So what'll you guys be doin?

I'll be going to a local celebration which takes place across the street from my Grandmothers. I might light some bottle rockets at night before we watch the big fireworks.

Stay home and watch drunken neighbors shoot of illegal f fireworks until the cops come because there is a burn ban in effect. No, I will not be filming their arrests. Burn ban is bad enough, but firing illegal fireworks at neighbors homes and passing vehicles idiotic. I kinda like my house unburnt.
I had several invitations from friends and family, to come and hang out, go swimming, boating, and jetskiing. However drunks are a serious problem here on holidays, especially July 4th and NYE, so I declined.

Unfortunately I don't have plans to anything special this year, so it'll probably just be another typical day for me.

Probably just go to a show and watch the fireworks with my parents :/ wish I had some parties to go to but my friends are either out of town or doing stuff with their significant others.

M-80s...jesus those make some big booms, used to play with those with my grandpa as a kid :P unfortunately they are illegal in Minnesota so we have to smuggle them across the Wisconsin border if we want any :ninja:

I'm not doing anything much myself in terms of celebrating, though I will enjoy everything around me. I'll go to fireworks shows, I just won't light any myself. They're illegal around here anyways. Doesn't stop people, but I won't try my luck.

Oh, and then I'm going for a short vacation in a few days.

I live near Louisville Kentucky. Not sure if using them is illegal but I think selling them is. We just go over the bridge to Indiana and head on back.
