2. Blow off Mr. House
3.Gamble
4. Head to Freeside to see Mick and Ralph (Naughty Nightwear), then visit the FOTA and then The King and the Atomic Wrangler.

It pretty much varies.

If I need some quick XP, I go and do the GI Blues quest: it's safe, and awards 1500 XP.
If I need to unload some stuff, I visit Mick and Ralph's.
If I'm feeling naked and want some nice armor, I "accidentally" blow up the Silver Rush.
If I need a good follower, I pay the Followers a visit and get Arcade. A doctor with a sardonic wit and a plasma weapon, what's not to like?

I also tend to stay away from slots because I've won 5 chips and lost 100 on slots. And I'm notoriously unlucky at roulette.

And this is going to sound really weird... but can you count cards in Blackjack? If I could do a simple high-low count thing it'd be so kewl =D

Since I don't enter the Strip (I assume that's what the OP meant) until fairly late in my questing, the first thing I do is see House and then go get the chip/kill Benny, because at that point I just want to go kill everyone in the Fort.

I don't actually go right to the Strip when I get in that area, I usually go see Jimmy in Westside first.

Visit Gun Runners and/or Silver Rush. Go buy the Naughty Nightwear from M&C's. Go to Atomic Wrangler, exchange all NCR and Legion money to chips, play Blackjack with the NN equipped until i'm banned (+1 Luck = "Dealer bre... uh busts "). Repeat in all casinos with starting bet of 1000 chips. Be filthy rich. Bribe Caesar to go home :D

Usually, looting the magazine dispensers is what I do first. After that, I visit the Tops and the Ultra Luxe to increase my stocks of Nuka Quartz and Victory.
I always had a sense for the really important things...
When I'm done doing that, I visit the Silver Rush for my free Plasma Caster, Multiplas, Defender, etc.
Then of course, stopping by at Mick & Ralphs to buy that nice little Naughty Nightwear.
Typically, I do the quests on the strip when I'm done with everything else I wanted to do in the game, but adverse to my first playthrough I'm no longer reluctant to set my feet into New Vegas relatively early.

It's shuffled after every round and since it's only ever you and the house...no basically.

That said, with high luck (7+ seemingly) you don't really need to, most draws go in your favour, just play a good game and you should be fine, the house has no real advantage in blackjack in this game.

Outer Vegas: Do errands for Garrets, get door job with Laser People, Join the kings. When enough cash, enter strip.

New Vegas Proper: See Victor, Kill Benny, get Chip. Kill that guy the garrets hate, kill the white gloves, kill the Gomorrah's and then listen to Mr House's rant that I didnt go to see him straight away.

I usually set up my base in a shack just outside of New Vegas, unloads all the things I oughto sell but rather keep, visit the Gun Runners to buy ammo, and then finally head out looking for Fiends :gun:

The strip itself is usually second or third priority for me.
