Nah. But what should have been implemented from the start is a decent AI. They should know to stay out of your line of fire. Every single time I use a follower and I'm using missile weapons, the follower seems most likely to be in my direct line of fire than on the enemies flanks or rear. This is simply bad business.
This would of been much more helpful.
That's why I like Marcurio so much. He stays out of the way. Lydia is the worst. I was always killing her with my mage. I finally just made her stay at home and started using conjured helpers. Next time I make a mage I'll just take another mage. So much easier. I do think it's stupid that enemies can't kill them but we can. How the hell does that work? And why do I have enough control over my spells not to hurt myself but not enough control to keep from hurting my friends? I can understand if they walk in front of a fire ball maybe but why does chain lightning have to hit them?
I might have to try him on my warrior, as long as he doesn't attack me instead (since I'd probably be getting in his line of attack) but I need a tank right now as I get destroyed on Master at the beginning.
I don't actually find it too bad and I don't always hit them as a warrior but when I do it's annoying. I don't think this makes the game more challenging for me because sometimes my follower gets hit even when they're on the side of me and I'm directly facing the enemy. Sometimes I power attack and they walk straight in front of it.
