What do you want in skyrim?

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 11:33 am

Just a thread where you post what you want skyrim to have. It could be realistic or something that will never happen.

I want to be able to do more things. Farm, plant things, fletching, deeper crafting. Also to be able to start your own business. More land. Lots of things. But Skyrim is great as it is.

Fletching is all I want. The ability to find arrows and not MAKE them sounds VERY ridiculous.

A sensible and usable PC interface, for computer gamers. The interface is how we play the game- how we craft, shop, talk, look at a map, read about quests we have, select spells, prepare for combat, before and during- and do a myriad of different things in our inventories. If those interfaces are clunky, ugly, overly-simplistic, boring, flakey, buggy, and don't lend themselves to ease of use with a keyboard and mouse, then they just plain svck and majorly take away from the fun of playing. That's where the PC control system stands now, and I'd surely like to see it done better.

A lot. A lot of things.

What I want most? More complexity in interaction with followers.

Having more than 1 follower at a time, from the vanilla version, would be nice.

More actions that you can ask your followers to perform, would be nice.

Capability of training your followers/ train with them, would be nice.

Those would all work for me.

I would also like it if my followers would die from damage other than my own hand. That is just my personal preference though.

A temple shrine in memory of Bethesda Artist Adam Adamowicz. Maybe with an actual npc with his voice taking the player on a tour of his works and explaining how so and so came to be etc.

My main want is some kind of agility or movement skill. Something like acrobatics and athletics combined.

I would want it to be more like past games in the series and less like what is a popular game in todays market.

I would like it to be less like the matrix 3 and more like Sweeny Todd, iconoclastic instead of generic, inspired instead of generic, daring instead of generic and you get the drift.

If I would go for anything remotely realistic I would have to say that what I want in Skyrim is for the next patches to include fixes for savegame corrupting bugs such as atomic nirnroot stacking and dropped weapons not despawning.
They hurt my game.

Boss like enemies in Dungeons that have battle phases.

I have a whole list of stuff I'd love Skryim to be. Maybe not as brutally pessimistic as Merari, but certainly not far off.

However, I'd settle for Dragons that can actually Dragon Shout. Oh, and maybe more unique items not tied directly to quests...
