What's your most memorable gaming bug?

What bug throughout your gaming has stuck out to you the most? Was it something funny? Rage inducing? Or just plain weird?

For me it was when I'd first started playing Red Dead Redemption last month. I was riding into Armadillo on a horse and had hunted some animal, and as I got off the horse to dismount, I randomly flew a good 30-40 feet in the air and fell down. Normally I'd be angry, but this was so random and bizarre I just started chuckling. I've never had this happen since.

Meddling too much with the NPCs in the city street segments in Thief: DS. It is, by far, the most glitch-prone AI I've ever come across. Explore at your own risk. Thankfully, they're just hubs and the missions themselves work fine.

To explain how bad it can get, I had one save in that game where there was constant rioting in the streets, people getting accidentally hit in combat and then joining it, factions having an all-out war, physics going crazy, Garret being spotted and attacked by random passerby, cats and dogs living together, mass hysteria.

Exact same thing with a horse happened to me but in Skyrim. :P
Mine was probably when I had fawkes as a follower in FO3 and he (she?) was following me and we were both attacked by enclave. Fawkes disappeared and I found him 100 feet in the air still blasting away at the enclave.

I was playing Two Worlds 2 and I was trying to climb over a mountain that obviously wasn't meant for climbing and I got stuck on my descent. No matter what I did I couldn't move. I ended up saving and reloading and it wouldn't budge still so I came back a few weeks later to the game, loaded it up and I was able to move again. It was weird.

Neverwinter Nights.

Can't remember where exactly in the game, but I think it might be when you find out Aribeth is evil? There is this huge cutscene, and then there are gates that are supposed to open to let you into the area. Only in my game, they didn't open.

Luckily, I found a bug fix on the bioware forums and was able to progress. It was my first time ever using the console (before this bug I never even knew there was such a thing as the "console"), so I remember it pretty well :P

FO3: Deathclaw in Francis Scott Key Campground (near Dunwitch)

I shot it with a snipe rifle. It shot up into the sky. Then disappeared. Then it reappeared and shot up into the sky again, over and over again, in an infinite loop.

HA! That sounds like it should be done just for the hilarity factor.

And in Morrowind, usually while trying to hop through Telvanni tower interiors with a jump spell on. Never worked very well.

Like this, but in Oblivion. There was a part of the wall in an inn in Cheydinhal. If you jumped up on a barrel and ran at the wall, you could walk through it, and hang around on the outer edge of the cell, looking inward at the room, and jumping back through when you wanted to.

It was a fun way to escape the guards, especially since their arrows could not go through the walls at you.
