We got old, that's what happened. We grew up, got jobs, had kids, etc...

Can't honestly say I miss it. I quit smoking about two decades ago, Denny's coffee has always been horrible, and these days, the place is full of kids.

Thats not how we did it. We generally went around to one of our buddies houses with some beer and got plastered while playing AD&D, and much hilarity ensued.

I'm not quite as ancient as you guys I guess (no offense), but my older cousin and my friend's uncle introduced us to AD&D when we were youngsters (they basically just told us stories while we played with maps and pewter figurines). RPGs evolved from there into videogames. I imagine someday my kids will slip snugly into their virtual reality pods and have a blast with their friends. It will be unhealthy... in different ways.

Got remarried to a great gamer chick, two step kids, gamers too. Trying to quit smoking and I drink red bulls not coffee...lol I never hung out at a Denny's. We all usually partied in the cemetary or my backyard back in the 80s.

...predectability.
The milkman, the paperboy, evening TV
You miss your old familiar friends,
Waiting just around the bend!

Everywhere you look , everywhere you go (there's a heart).
There's a heart
A hand to hold onto.

Everywhere you look , everywhere you go.
There's a face
Of somebody who needs you.

Eveywhere you look,
When you're lost out there and you're all alone,
A light is waiting to carry you home,
Everywhere you look.
Everywhere you look.

For me, it was Pro Evo Soccer. So many great memories, proud achievements. My unbeaten streak as Brazil stood from the PS1 to the 360, despite stern tests from my mates. Still a bragging right for me to this day!

I wish I could remember my twenties :whistling: back when I could carelessly blow my brains out with... ummm... something. Anyway, now that I'm in my forties, I'm a bit more responsible and a whole lot more forgetful. I just keep forgetting all the wrong things.

Oh, and believe it or not, I never drank coffee... I did drink alot of beer though. I never played D&D either. I did however play other games back in the 70's 80's and part of the 90's. Still play games, just not as often or as long as I did back when I wore a younger man's clothes.
