If the gameplay svcks nothing can save it, content before graphics though (within reason at least).

Gameplay. If I cant play it well(through no fault of my own) any game would be unplayable for me.

For example: BF3 Beta. The controls just don't work good(I understand it is a beta not a demo, but it was the first thing that came to mind).

My first thought was content, but if the gameplay was horrendous, then I suppose no great plots or anything else could really sway me.
But saying that, I'd much rather play a game with flawed gameplay and flawless content, as opposed to flawless gameplay but shoddy content.

Either way, graphics aren't that big of a deal.

[Edit] What's the point in asking what's "more important" if you can then choose all 3?

In this order for me, cause I would like to prioritize my answer.
1.Content
2.Gameplay
3. Graphics.

Gameplay and content are equally important to me. After all, who would want to play a game without a good storyline? (excluding sports games).
I really enjoyed Morrowind because of it's content, but the gameplay was'nt great, and the graphics hurt my eyes (though it was fixed by the fantastic Morrowind graphics & sound overhaul).

All effects my opinion, except graphics.

Graphics could be crap, but with good gameplay and content... I'm set. Look at Minecraft, without texture packs the game looks like poo. But the depth of the game iteself, and the content within it keeps me entertained for hours at a time.

Content = Gameplay > Graphics.

I can play a game with bad graphics.
Games with good gameplay, but lack content or depth are hard for me to finish.
Games with good content but terrible gameplay are hard for me to finish.

Luckily Skyrim appears to excel at all 3. :celebration:

cant have anyone of them without the other you can have all the gameplay and content you want but if you have terrible graphics nobody will be impressed and buy your game, you can have all the graphics and gameplay you can imagine but if your game has virtually no content nobody will buy your game, and have all the graphics and content you want but nobody will be able to stand your game if the gameplay svcks and eventually those disgruntled buyers will inform there friends the game svcks who will then inform there friends and so on and in the end nobody will buy your game. all are important is the moral of this story.

Story for me. Cinematography doesn't bother me too much (unless we're talking really fast, frenetic shots which I don't like), and if the script's bad, there's only so much a great actor can do.

Content and gameplay, all the graphics in the world won't save the game from being repetitive and freaking boring.
