It's cloudy. It's been completely overcast for ages now and it's annoying me because I want to see this supernova. I moved to Oxfordshire to escape East Anglia's dreary weather ("you want sun? Snow? Rain? Forget it, what you're getting is grey. Every day.") but it seems to have followed me. :meh:

It's 46 F/ 7.7 C and a heavy cloud cover. The ground is still wet from the downpour we had last night. The yellow and red leaves are falling in the light breeze. It's a good day for a bonfire, some cider and fry bread. The cranes and geese are hurrying east and then I suppose south.

Out of nowhere a thunderstorm rolled in this morning. Not even hinted on any of the forecasts. It was awesome, especially after multiple days at and above 35oC

North Carolina: Clear Skies, Sunny, Hot as hell.

What I like about NC is we have pretty well-defined seasons.

Currently 86.2°F, sunny, with a chance of thunderstorms. Got some building North and South of here, but none coming my way as of now.

Your hammock is still hanging in the corner under the orange tree - bring mosquito repellent. :)

Heh, didn't occur to me there was no oC after the temps. :(

Anyway, it's 16°C where I am right now, a few drops of rain, but nothing major.

Its sunny and cool. About damn time too. I'm absolutely sick of the rain. Its rained for the past two weeks straight with a day or two of sun mixed in just to piss you off. I've just emerged from two hurricanes. Both of which [censored] my [censored] up. My basemant has been under water, it's now devoid of a lot of water but since the floor is dirt and stone its like walking on crunchy jello and certain spots sink as you walk. Its still very much wet in the basemant. My front yard is a swamp right now. I've got two giant holes where my new septic system is supposed to go. Both holes are full of water. My plastic tank has been out of the ground for two weeks floating around...it has not been fun.

My septic contractor and I are both praying for a good week of sun. The both of us are tired of my yard being under water. Me, because I have no bathroom; I have to go to friends' houses to "go". Him, because he can't finish the job he was paid to do and because every time it rains he has to start from scratch again. He digs the hole, grades it, puts pea gravel in it, puts the tank in, back fills it, it rains. He has to drain the hole, dig it out, re-grade it, put more pea gravel down, re-attach the tank, re-back fill. He's done this twice now. Not to mention he hasn't yet installed the secondary tank, the leech field, the pump, the electric panel..none of it. Because every time it rains, he has to start over.

If I could kick the crap out of mother nature, I'd of done so. I hope it stays nice now.
