whatsup with the slow frame rates?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 8:12 am

So last night i was playing brink for the first time but one thing i noticed, dying enemies and friends on the floor...the animations are extremely choppy. Im sorry but it doesnt make any sense that this game was pushed a week early because it was "finished early". Thats bs. Ive never played a game that was hyped so much, that failed so much so fast.

This game has potential to be one of the best shooters on the markets, but your textures arent loading, your games are lagging, your AI is [censored], your frames rates are slow....these updates need to come by the weekend or I and im sure many others, will be pretty pissed

Agree 100%. Everything looks terrible for me. But my friend's looks great on his tv. And he is running 720p hd component on his xbox as opposed to my 1080p HDMI. Installed to HDD didn't rememedy much apart from quicker texture loading and faster game load times.

Its crazy...the game doesnt even look good at all. The graphics at the customization menu are awesome...but inside the actual game I feel like there is 0 HD at all. Its really dissapointing cause this game is fun

I actually changed my xbox settings to 480p just to see if maybe this game was being rendered in 480p and my xbox was just trying to stretch it to 1080, but basically it looked the same on both settings. The only difference being the obvious size of my hud due to the lower resolution on the screen. But graphically, it looked the same which is not good. Where's the polish I see in the gameplay trailers from pre-release. My friend says his looks exactly like those and we are both on xbox? Calling Splash/bethesda today to ask them wtf is going on and why one person's can look great and one's can't

I've had a lot of graphical problems with mine too and I'm running the same setup as you, (1080, HDMI cord, and installed to HDD) however I've seen no improvement. Also online is SUPER laggy if you play with more than 3 other people (4 total).

I'm very disappointed with how bad this game's online is especially since it is designed for multiplayer. It also may be important to note that I had graphical problems even when I was playing solo on my own xbox...

I still cant figure out whats the deal with different TV sets...
I think its the only time ive heard that...
All other games, movies, blu rays look great....as in real person...so why is this game demanding a tv change
I still put my money on a problem on their side... either the game code as some sites have said or evil goblins eating at the cables on their servers...

Either way im still waiting... and debating if I should just return it or trade it
