When is dawnguard being released? : V - Skyrim

Yes the campaign will be mostlikely, but games like those campaigns at most last like 5-15 hours and when buying them new I just don't see it worth it, sure you get multiplayer but its just a new slap of paint on the last multiplayer. Jusy my opinion.

Mot to be rushy but I am kinda bored with skyrim and need to sell it but I want to play dawnguard before then. when is dawnguards release date?

Seems like a waste of money to sell a game after getting the dlc, but you can do whatever you wish.

Halo isn't copy and paste like CoD. This is the fourth halo, there's probably been around eight Cods. Also, halo isn't released just to take advantage of the lesser minded population, Cod is.

It has to be remembered that it's a business, they want to make money, plus they've given us quite a few addons that many other developers would make you pay money for

Companies are companies for money, not for being good to everyone and handing out free stuff. This isn't about ethics. Microsoft offered Bethesda or Zenimax money for the exclusivity, and in a business world who would say no to money. And no, not everyone at this company is millionaires and don't need the cash, so people can't use that excuse. People have to come to terms with that.
People saying stuff like this just makes no sense whatsoever.

Try finding another company that gives you as much free stuff beside bethesda and valve.

This was simply a microsoft deal, not bad ethics on bethesda's part.

I agree. With the free stuff Beth has given us, it's not right to call Bethesda unethical for making some money. All that free stuff we got with updates, consider the later DLC the "payment".

Who's the competition? PC users? PS3 users? I fail to see who Microsoft is competing against by having a dlc released earlier for Xbox. All that means is PC and PS3 users will have to wait. Bethesda, please take note that just because you do something good for the fans doesn't mean that you should then screw them over.

I understand business quite well. I have future business plans of my own. But, every business owner should understand that there is a line to making money. Most businesses disregard this line nowadays, so they cheat, lie, and steal from their customers (Walmart is a good example) just for some extra cash. As a person who wants to start and maintain a successful business someday this disgusts me. There is no longer a place for ethics in business it seems.

One month, one week, one day, it's still wrong. I own a 360, but I don't want to be put ahead of PC and PS3 users. Bethesda should be ashamed.

we must remember this isn't about a chemical waste disposal deal in a third world country, its about a peice of content on a video game being held for an extra couple of weeks. If we were discussing the former i'd agree with you 100%, but its not.

because a lot of game developers and publishers have deals with microsoft to have their products release early on the 360 as a way to bring over business

that is EXACTLY what one of the dev's said in reply to a ranting interviewer, moan to sony, and us PC users have mods, which in itself is worth a thousand DLC

No amount of arguing people do on a forum related to one game is going to change the business practices of microsoft or sony.

All it does is clog up the threads where we want to talk about skyrim. It's like debating religion, if you voice your opinion on it SOMEONE is gonna disagree with you.

Yea it svcks that consoles can't do any modding. I need to buy Skyrim for PC so I can always have that modding alternative.
