I wasn't aware they were producing a DLC right away.

Xbox users (and maybe PS3 users as well, not sure) are used to most games having nearly immediate DLC availability. The stuff that comes out immediately is usually just cosmetic stuff, like special gear, or maybe an extra map or something. But for this game, it seems like a better idea to get the thing working properly before releasing DLC/Expansions.

As someone who plays Skyrim on PC, I find all the clamoring for DLC amusing. Mainly because DLC isn't as common for PC games (except ones that are also released on consoles), and usually modders are able to put out decent expansions (albeit with nonexistent or crappy voice acting).

Ah. Only DLCs I'm familiar with were the silly pay-for ones for Oblivion. I wouldn't own a game console system, so really haven't any interest in what a company does/doesn't do for that. There will be a lot of WONDERFUL mods as soon as the CK comes out, so that will be great! I don't care about the VA - I turn voices off, as it all drives me nuts....

Nobody knows when the DLC is going to be release! it depends on Bethesda soft works studio or the modorators. If we can give them ideas.

There was for-pay DLC for the Bioware (Mass Effect, Dragon Age) PC games as well, but those were also released on console. That's what console users mean when they talk about DLC--officially released updates that you pay for. I understand why they crave it, though. They aren't getting new content otherwise.

Ah. I don't play Bioware games any more.... and people should play games on PC if they want real content updates I guess....

I find this waiting exiting.
Nobody knows what DLC will be about. There are so many good things and things that could be expanded upon.

While I want DLC to be released NAO as much as many others, I will much prefer Bethesda to take their time to deliver the "beefier" DLC they promised. Although an announcement would be OK... knowing what it'll be about.
