When oh When are they going to fix the Bugs & Crashes

I am getting very angry with all the Bugs in this game & they appear to be doing nothing about the problems, In over 30 years of game play I've never played a game that is as buggy as this one.
They quote "there is no such thing as a bug free program", A game crashing or seizing after an hour or two of game play is acceptable, not as in new vegas every few minutes & at times every few seconds.
If Fallout 3 had been anywhere near half as buugy as new vegas then I would not have even contemplated wasting my money purchasing new vegas, & I will not be purchasing any other Fallout or games from Bethesda until I am sure that the game will run properly.
I hope others will take this stance, then maybe they will ensure that game releases are playable before release, as if no one will purchase their games they will have to improve their testing.
I never had any serious issues with Fallout 3. I am going to download some MODs & go back to playing that, until they fix new vaegas so I'm not banging my head on the desk in frustration.

Well, since these forums are pretty clearly dead...

Never. It's Gamebryo, the engine is eternally flawed. There's a reason Gamebryo's developers went out of business.

New vegas played well on my system. No crashes just the stuttering problem that the patch fixed. Just to give you my experience.

What troubleshooting have you tried? A dxdiag would be a first step as well as information about the problem. Include as much info as you can.
When the problem started? How often it occurs? Can you play other games? Is fallout new vegas modded? Hows the general stability of your system?

It has happened on two system, an amd 5000+ dual core running XP 32bit with 4gb ram two 256 Nvidia cards, I upgrade because of the crashing unmodded to a Dell Studio XPS 8100 quad core i7 running windows 7 64bit with 6gb ram Nvidia Geforce GTS 240 1gb card, new vegas has crashed unmodded on both systems, I have installed mods on my present system, new vegas has never crashed or frozen whilst I am playing inside any MOD. all the crashes appear to be in the same position on the new vegas map (there are too many to list) wether the game is modded or unmodded. I have turned off all auto saves (which has reduced the crashes) & use quicksave, I make sure I never pick up any cards (curing the travelling merchant crashes),thouh I get crashes when purchasing from the gun runners both modded & unmodded at certain levels (which appears to be caused when purchasing all powder or primer items, just purchasing one item does not cause a crash but the other stock disappears) all the crashes have been whilst outside never inside a building.
there are a couple of sites in goodsprings (which appear tio have been cured by not using auto save), there are a lot around primm both inside & outside the wall,
Primm, Novac & Nipton all crash just in front of where you spawn using fast travel.
I have never had any problems playing any other game even fallout 3.

Damn it there are that many crashes around boulder city, I can't get more than a few yards whatever direction I take before the damn game crashes :banghead:
was using CASM an auto quicksave addon, which appears to cause the same crash problems as when using NV autosave options.
went back using only manual quicksave no crashes.
