when youve played too much skyrim...

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 1:33 pm

What is the point when you have all realised you have played to much skyrim?(maybe not such a bad thing, game is amazing)

Anyway, for me it was today...i was walking to work,my mind all set on what had to be done today in the job, caffiene in my system, refreshed etc, basically all good to go,focused i mean...then it happened...

In the corner of my eye in a neighbours garden/yard,i saw a purple flower, not sure the name of it,but i didnt have to know...because my mind only displayed on word......Deathbell.in a pure involountary motion i began to walk towards it to pick/harvest it....wtf? i laughed it off and swore i would take a few days break from killing imperials, yet here i am on the forums,

so for me two things have caught me about how i know iv played too much skyrim, trying to steal my neighbours "deathbell" and coming straight here when i swore i would take a break from this game

so what done it for you?

When I started thinking about Skyrim 24/7. In college, in the shower, watching TV or even when sleeping I'd have dreams I was in Skyrim. It's not so bad now as I'm going to have to start a new game (due to Bloated Save File and the lockups which accompany it) and as such I haven't really been playing the game a lot, but I imagine when I do create my new save and download Dawnguard I'm going to be addicted again.

When I get the sudden urge to make an arrow to the knee joke in public, to people I don't know.

When you play to much Skyrim

You believe you are Dovakiin.

when you believe you are Dovakiin, you shout at your neighbor

When you shout at your neighbor you get kicked in the teeth

Do not get kicked in the teeth, switch to a different RPG now.

Whenever my friends ask what's in the fridge, and I answer "spells and incantations for those with the talent to cast them".

I'm lucky, most of my friends at college play Skyrim and every one gets the "arrow to the knee" joke and all of my Sheogorath references... its so fun!

When you play to much Skyrim

You believe you are Dovakiin.

when you believe you are Dovakiin, you shout at your neighbor

When you shout at your neighbor, people think you have anger problems.

When people think you have anger problems, you get sent to anger management.

When you get sent to anger management, you inadvertently insult your anger buddy.

When you inadvertently insult your anger buddy, you take an arrow to the knee when he invites you to go hunting with him.

Don't take an arrow to the knee, switch to a different RPG with less shouting.

I tried to find an Amulet of Mara instead of an engagement ring to propose to my gf. She wasn't too thrilled.

Thats hilarous, you should have video taped that reaction. Was she a Skyrim fan?

You play too much skyrim when you would rather use Expert Destruction Spell Incinerate against an enemy in MW3 instead of shooting them.
