Where are all the Silver-Bloods?

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 5:34 am

If you have no idea why any of the silverbloods would be missing then don't read ahead.

Ok so I have done the forsworn conspiracy and helped free the forsworn (didn't really know that there was another option) so now the silver house is occupied by a single servant

Not only that but for season unending I gave Markarth to the Stormcloaks and now I want to do the imperial civil war, and apparently this means that Throngvar (or something like that) will be exiled to Windhelm.

That means that despite being the most powerful and influential families in the Reach, THERE WILL BE NO SILVER-BLOODS IN MARKARTH

Now don't get me wrong, I hated them all, but it does seem a little odd, as well as making the silver house look like it belongs in a ghost town.

Surely if all of them are gone, some other silver-blood family members should move in, maybe nicer ones?

What do you think?

same thing, since the relatives dont exist and the game doesnt randomly generate anything to replace them

shame really. Although they did in oblivion, when you kill Baelin for db his nephew takes over his house, although I think it's implied that his nephew is the one that made the contract

Yep. If you keep talking to Baenlin's nephew, he will eventually allude to the knowledge that he hired the Dark Brotherhood because he wanted Baenlin's fortune, but the old coot wouldn't die. He just seemed to stay healthy...

But that was a programmed in family member, just for the off-chance that some curious Gamer or hard-core roleplayer (like myself) would follow up after the contract was completed to see what the repercussions throughout Bruma might be. The game's engine in it''s current itteration won't randomly generate a family member and some story elements to flesh them out with.

They don't come back because I systematically hunted down and killed each and every one of them.

I undestand that the game wont generate a new character, I am saying that I think bethesda should CREATE one or two new characters

I second that. Seems ridiculous that I got the special thieves guild job for Markarth by ransacking a deserted Treasury House. (I was in sneak mode for a while before I realized no one was there!)

And who's paying the guards at the mine now? Nepos the Nose? And who's paying him off?

And if the Silver-Bloods are gone for good, what about the references in speech of all the other folks about who really runs Markarth? They should disappear as well.
