Just a quick question but has anyone found a large amount of mini nukes or at least like ten of them? I've only been able to find around four or five throughout the map. I enjoyed finding plenty of mini-nukes to feed my fat-man in FO3. >.<

Did you ever go to the Nellis Air force Base?
It has a couple boomers with fat mans and mini nukes on them. Just make sure to dispose of them silently, so no one attacks you, and you can always let him re spawn for later scavenging of his body for mini nukes...

What are you still doing playing a game you are greatly disappointed in? You should just trade it in for something you'll have more fun with. :glare:

Well, it does seem that Mini Nukes are more rare in FNV than in FO3; and personally I think that's a good thing. On my current run through FNV I believe I only bought one Fatman launcher from the Gun Runners and found one on the body of a dead Super Mutant Master (in poor condition) and maybe a total of 5-6 Mini Nukes at present time. In FO3 I was lobbing them away like candy (had a laugh with the MIRV too), but it just didn't feel right to find so many of them everywhere.

EDIT: Just checked the Wiki, and there are around 14 to be found/stolen for free in FNV, compared to around 70-74 in FO3 (98 with all addons). Guess that explains things

Yeah go play FO3 they're everywhere in that game.

Unfortunately unless you are playing very easy nukes do close to no damage.

I remember seeing a couple in the extra bunker next to the BOS bunker. They're behind a door that opens to rubble.

Funny that the BOS wouldn't scavenge a bunker that's like 20 feet away from them. :facepalm:

I never found a huge cache, but there's a lot of map I didn't explore.

Yes I was very disappointed when my fatman said 165 dmg intead of fallout 3's 1200 dmg.

I mean 165 is crap dmg for a mini nuke IMO :shrug:

Who cares anyway? They do piss poor damage.

Actually, Fatman was tricky to use even in FO3 as Deathclaw tend to have the amazing ability to dodge them. Super Mutant Overloads just bite it with their teeth and didn't even flinch.

See how Fatman is "balanced", I just wouldn't bother with it at all.

placed 5 mini nukes and a c4 in a car wreck at a road junction

first passing trader and boomshanka.......the feckin brahim walked right through it.
then 1 round from a 10mm and it keeled over...go figure ?
