Where can I find a fortify one-handed item?

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 5:38 pm

Does anyone know where I can find a disenchantable item, so I can learn "fortify one-handed" weapon skill?

Researching UESPWiki showed me how I can cheat, and give myself a disenchantable item, via the PC console. But knowing where I can go find one is closer to the level of cheating I want to do. Althrough, I guess I will just use the console if no one knows a specific place.

Random where they'll show up.Just keep visiting all the merchants from time to time, I've seen guantlets early in several playthroughs, usually low tier and not too expensive.

Go around checking shops. Little trick is to go to shop if he don't have it, save, kill him then load save and he will have new stuff.

Usually I find something at Warmaiden's - make sure you go inside the shop first, then go talk to Adrianne outside (sometimes if you do it the other way, both Adrianne and Ulfberth have the same stuff - and if they're BOTH in the shop, they definitely have the same stuff). Occasionally, whatshisname in Solitude has had something, or failing that, whatshisname in Riften.

I would keep an eye out for boots of muffling as well, they become incredibly rare after a certain level (40?).

There is a unique set of muffle boots called Predators Grace at Hags End when you get all the way to the end of the dungeon and exit out to where you kill the hargraven ( I think it's called Deepwood Vale ) .
Before you jump down or fast travel out of there , go all the way to the right side and look at the waterfall , there is a little valley on top . Save first in case you fall , then use Whirlwind Sprint to get up there . The boots are on the ground next to a chest on the far side of the stream .

I'm not sure , I already had the TG and DB boots so I just sold them .
They also have the rather useless regenerate stamina 1% faster on them as well .

I usually go outside first then inside, however to both in the morning and go straight from one to the other, then the lady goes inside they will get the same inventory.

Also check the drunken huntsman, the general store and the skyforge might also have something. you might want to fast travel around look, this way you can also sell lots of stuff and buy other rare items.

Well, in the Bee and Barb in Riften there is a copy of a Playboy, Hustler, and the Lusty Argonian Maid in an upstairs room. You should be all ready to go for "Fortify one-handed" in four to five reads... just make sure you are alone and the "training" should go faster.

Eorlund doesn't sell enchanted stuff IIRC.
