Purified Water and Dirty Water, you get some as a reward from the tutorial quests and they are found around the place just like othe rloot.

Wasn't it confirmed before the game was released that there would be canteens attached to certain suits of armor? On these very forums?

That's what I thought! I was so stoked when I got the Ncr ranger patrol armor and I was all like "Sweet this has a water backpack!" But then I put it on and nothing happened. I was so sure I had heard that there would be canteens on certain armors and I'm kinda bummed there isn't.

I'm pretty sure it's a pre-order bonus only. The thing is it svcks that it never empties. Glad I don't have it.

I tell you what. That canteen is the best thing for me on hardcoe mode... Though you have to keep a ample amount of liquids with you for it to work. It's like that medic armor in F3 as long as you have the med-x's and such you'll be fine, but as soon as you run out it does nothing.
