Where can I sell torches?

So far I have found no merchants who will buy torches. Is there a place to sell them?

I don't know. I've never had enough of them to worry about needing to sell them.

I have about a dozen of them. I take them from the walls of caves and ruins so that the place goes dark and the baddies can not see me. I never put them back. (should I?)

So now I have no use for them. Except for cash.

Ah. Hmmm. I don't have issues just killing the baddies, so it never occurred to me to take the torches. Now.... I doubt they're worth much, so maybe just drop them somewhere if you don't want them taking up inventory space/weight?

Wish I could donate them to the temple.

You can sell them to one of the cobblestones in whiterun although it must be bugged because you don't receive cash for doing so.

To complete the transaction, pick a cobblestone and look directly at it. Enter your inventory, select the torch you want to sell, amd press x. Torch sold.

Well.... Roleplay it.... Go to Halls of the Dead in Whiterun. Chat up Andurs (and if you haven't done his little quest this is a good time to do it). Then drop the torches there.

No it's not a glitch. If something doesn't cost very much and you don't have a high enough Speech skill to recieve the full amount of an item's value when you sell it, the item will say it's worth nothing and you'll end up giving it away for free.
