Anyone knows where did Dan Hagar go? A guy standing at his garage door saying that he went to Gunbarrel. Where is town of Gunbarrel?

Off map. We might see it in some DLC or we might not; there hasn't been any official indication of this.

Can he go without completing his missions ?

I just want to make sure I didn't miss any of his missions !

If you go back to the hagar settlement looking for him enough times an NPC will tell you he went to the town of Gun Barrel for a "couple of days". That's the only indication of his whereabouts after he leaves the Hagar settlement. Also I believe he only leaves after you've completed all the missions for him... it's scripted in the game as such. It's not random when he leaves in other words. For me it was pretty much a dead giveaway that they only recorded so many lines for John Goodman to read. It's the same thing with other characters once you complete all the quests for them too though like the Sherrif of wellspring's door closes and locks once you've completed all his quests.

Gun Barrel is supposedly located in the southern territories which obviously cannot be accessed. I have a feeling when they release campaign dlc (if they ever do...) it will probably be in the form of "territories" which would most likely contain numerous missions and such. But The Mayor of Wellsprings also talks about " a recent trade agreement with the town of Gun Barrel in the southern territories" while walking around Wellsprings before the Authority arrives.
