He doesn't die, he ascends to become the 10th divine. Nah not really but it would be a cool DLC.

It's likely that Akatosh would have first dibs on the Dragonborn.

Whoever would want to claim you most, and then perhaps ever so slightly your own opinion plays a role.

It also depends on who blessed you, was it Akatosh himself or was it Akatosh by idea of Shor, or was it Shor?

Its possible if you become a VL in the Dawnguard DLC that you won't die.. ever

That actually sounds weirdly perverted. Probably just me though.

I like to imagine the Dragonborn's body transcending into the universe, and then being taken over by the dragon souls, transforming him into a powerful Divine Dragon. But that's just me. I don't really know all that much about daeric princes, aedra, or divines, so I like to make up my own version of things.

Well that will most likely be what happens with my Dragonborn...
