where can i find a nest of deathclaws?
Also, where are other things i could kill to loot? Need caps,

The quarry just north of Sloan and a train yard quite a ways northwest has some blind ones.

Wowsers, you're high level and well armed to be capable of killing deathclaws just for loot yet have no cash? Crazy.

The Fiends south of the strip usually have decent loot, otherwise get off the beaten path and explore. I'm sure you'll find somewhere cool to loot!

Deathclaws aren't good money. They're hard to kill and don't drop much, explore other things.

just spent 13000 caps on armor and ammo and weapons that was all i had

Sloan is east and slighty north of Goodspring. The deathclaws are north of Sloan however if you plan on killing them I suggest be level 15+ if not 20+. I found them when I was around level 10 and it was over fast.

There's also the deathclaw cave up in the hills on the west side of the road just south of Novac. If you go in there, you will have quite the war on your hands.

Quarry deathclaws are murderous. I thought I'd have an easy time clearing out the Sloan Quarry after finally acquiring some Power Armor. Not so much. svckers take two swipes at me and I'm down. So I roll out with my minigun, no dice. Sniper rifle? I kill one by emptying my magazine into it before the other three cut me to ribbons.

So I decided to play it a little smarter. I picked up an Anti-Materiel Rifle and a handful of .50 cal rounds, then proceeded to break down the ammo and make custom Match grade hand loads. I then mined the base of one of the conveyor towers in the quarry and plugged the deathclaws until they either dropped from the shooting or ran into my mines on the way to claw my face off at the top of the ramp.

Truly magnificent. It's a rare game that makes me put that much thought into beating an enemy. Those Deathclaw eggs are now proudly displayed as trophies in my home.
