Hey there fellow forum users!

I don't know if there's been a post like this, but after my 200th hour of Skyrim, I was wondering about the future of the Elder Scrolls.

Since Oblivion had many NPC dialogues about the unrest in Skyrim, I'd wager the next instance of a TES game based on what I've seen so far will probably feature a great war between the Aldmeri Dominion and the tumbling Empire. I can only guess how cool it would be to see the whole of Tamriel in a massive world war of the provinces. (Cool as in cool in a game, I don't prefer wars of course)

What do you think? Could this happen?

NO they will not do all the provinces at once. We will likely be a Hero taking down the Thalmor from the inside on Summerset Isles if anything is going to happen with the Thalmor. Though they might keep the Thalmor around as that lingering threat for the next game and TES VII will see the Thalmor sorted out or the Empire and humanity under the influence of Altmeri overlords(i doubt the latter).
