Where to now?

High Rock, Morrowind, Cyrodiil, Skyrim... Now where?
Where will the next Elder Scrolls adventure take place? I hope its Elswyer (tropical setting) or Summerset Isle (not much is known about it).
Also, what can improve the overall game mechanics like floaty sword fighting or The perk trees?

Well, the most important part is getting the player progression power curve right.

When I started the game, and played it for the first 2h, I was like: WTF?

I didnt have the feeling of progression. There was fur armor, hide armor.... low quality maces (rusty stuff).....thought not long after the first fights in the game, I run around in imperial heavy armor with a greatsword, totally making everthing else a waste of content (or in case of light armor: leather armor).

The escaped prisoner, with barely any knowledge about skill then comes to whiterun and just kills a dragon like its a fly. It felt so wrong. It felt like Bethesda needed to put the main story line very prominent and accessible so that the more casual style player immediatelly have a hook. However, it does not at all fit into the character development. You start out as nobody, and before you know it you skip xx weapon and armor quality levels and become the thane of a city by killing a friggin dragon.
No way Bethesda. As much as this is a masterpiece in world creation, radiant quest system and general atmosphere that makes the world really come to life, as much does the player progression break any immersion of the character development.

And I wont even start about smithing. Half the stuff I can make is already obsolete after finishing the first dungeon.

Why even bother checking the vendors? Why go shopping? Its all crap until they get magic stuff, and by then you are so powerful, that you can just make your own stuff or crawl some dungeons with ease.

For a future TES game I can only ask Bethesda for one thing: Make use of all content. Stretch early game content, and make the character feel like he actually stops being a nobody and slowly progressed to the higher stuff. And then, after the character reaches the level of a normal soldier/mage/priest/thief, THEN and not before give him the fancy stuff that really kicks ass.

Story: Sidequests - Great. Mainstory - Still cool, but kinda standard stuff.
Grafx overall: Some bad textures, but generally very very polished outdoor areas.
Level/World Design: Fantastic
Combat Design: Old, but ok
Interface: A joke  But I can live with it, if I must
Sound: Awesome, with so many different nuances.
Playerprogression: Terrible.

Overall: Just continue what you do Bethesda, you are one of the last quality developers for true imaginative and original RPGs that come from the oldschool classic D&D times.

Just get that player progression right, the power curve is terrible
(And I m not talking about scaling, that seems to work way better than oblivion, you did your homework there).
