Where is Skyrim on my harddrive?

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but where is Skyrim located on my hardrive?

I wish to recreate the .ini file following the latest patch...

I checked the /steam directory, but I can't seem to find it...

Wherever you installed Steam to. In the Steam directory, it's under steamapps/common/skyrim.

However, the INI files are in (My )Documents/(My )Games/Skyrim

Which of the two .ini files am I supposed to delete for it to be recreated after downloading the latest patch? Skyrim.ini, SkyrimPrefs.ini or both?
