There were only forum threads about PC and PS3 problems concerning the DLC. If you know of a XBOX 360 Whining OTHER than this one, then give me a link. Otherwise, your point is invalid to me. Besides the point, I heard someone say that they were gonna release it at 12 noon (East. Time). Obviously not......I'm personally beginning to think that it isn't coming out today.

Excuse us all, L00fah, if we have had the DLC delayed three times now, then we get it promised to us on the 3rd, now here we are and only the PSN guys have it.

I can link you to two or three others. Regardless of the system, they're all on the same damn topic. What does it matter if it's just for xbox? According to someone else, Xbox is having issues with their market today (conveniently enough), so this is on MS, not SD.
Just be patient for a few more hours. It's ridiculous.

My complaint is not "invalid." You can complain about this in one of the other several threads whining about the DLC not being out right when some random schmoe said it would be out.

Literally all but one of the DLCs I have ever downloaded have come out "late." In that I had to wait a few hours longer for them.

Like I said I hope I'm wrong, but I unless the attention is just overwhelming, I don't see it mainly b/c of the future games, also don't take this as bashing you I'm just politely responding b/c I'm bored waiting for DLC, lol.

Who can honestly tell me during that time they'll be thinking about Brink DLC or even Brink to begin with? They had the perfect opportunity to really dominate the summer gaming experience and failed considerably, it's sad. Such a great game, so much potential, failed b/c of a failure to test out their, and such small amount of content. There may be 56,590,123,3455,000000000 ways to dress your character, but the lack of color options and difference between them, make them impossible to really tell apart.

I love this game I really do play almost every day, but I'm also honest as well.

What does Microsoft failing to release DLC on time have to do with SD...? Or are you simply stating they fail because of the previous statements regarding the release date of the DLC?

I doubt it's the fault of MS. Other publishers can release their DLC on time just fine.

I kind of agree with you.
I don't think we'll get much more than one or two DLCs, more than likely ONE more to keep us afloat for a bit longer. But no more than that.
I do NOT, however, think it has anything to do with any other games. Instead, it has EVERYTHING to do with;
1. The game's poor critical reception due to the technical errors and content (though I'm personally fine with the content in this game).
2. SD AND Bethesda's handling of the DLC delays and such not. I don't honestly care much, but there are TONS of people who do. Their hope and confidence is quickly dwindling, I'm SURE the companies see that.
3. The community itself. Despite having one of the most polite communities I've met, we also seem to have a HUGE gathering of people eager to complain. Due to the "poor handling" of everything thus far, it's given them A LOT to complain about... They're literally pushing themselves away from everything. And as an online game, what else does it have spare for its community?



It isn't SD or Bethesda at this point. It's Xbox. According to some posts on the Xbox forums, the Xbox Marketplace is having some issues. I literally JUST said that.

You don't have to read the forums and these topics. I understand you can wait a little longer, fine, but don't expect others to behave the same way.

SD could at least leave a message, so people won't freak out. They replied to the PS3 DLC topics, why not do the same for PC/360 users?

However, I meant more in terms of the "loyal" crowd. I love this game, and have been playing it regularly since release, but when those new games come out I'll be playing all of them and most likely not be thinking about Brink at all. When I'm soaring around in Arkham City :batman: , I'll probably be thinking man I hope there's some DLC for this game, as well GoW3, Deus EX, Spider-Man, X-Men, all of which I can't wait to play. It's gonna be a 3 month long Christmas, lol.

It's good to hear that there's actually going to be a release time, but I wish that they would post those updates on the game site instead of us having to look all-over the interwebs for it.
