I've never even done a full playthrough of New Vegas.
I played it some the month it was first released, when it was a buggy piece of $%&@ and ended up just giving up on it like 1/3 of the way and just rushing straight to the end of the main storyline, instead of exploring like I did in FO3.
I know it's been patched a few times, but many people are still complaining about it. It works for me just fine, but it's the little bugs that gnaw on my brain.
Maybe if they'd release the patch they mentioned they were working on back in February I'd give it another go. But I just don't see that happening. Obsidian has a terrible track record. Look at the state of KOTOR 2 when they washed their hands of it. It made no @#$%ing sense until the modding community did their job for them and pieced it back together.
I expect no different from New Vegas. :3
Shame too, because I was pretty excited about it before it came out -- had a big mod idea all planned out. But now, I can't even work up the motivation to PLAY the game, let alone make a mod for it.
I still check the forums for the patch though.
