Where is the Stray Dog? I'm going to kill him. : V

So I've tried to buy new dogs.
And was not able to purchase them because I was told I already have a creature
Which I do not. I've been told it might be because of a Stray Dog that is following me unwillingly.
But there's nothing with me.
Is this the problem? Was I given the correct information? If so can someone tell me as to where I might find him at?

Or is it something else?

Stray Dog comes in a random encounter, attacked by two wolves usually. After he fights them, he follows you to get your attention. If you know where you might've seen this encounter, I'd go back there.

If not, no idea.

On a rare event if you have a woman following you they will say sry there is allready a dog following you. (nords and there racism)

Followers in this game svck. They lag way behind and oftentimes are never there when they should be.

The dark brotherhood followers are an exception as they stick to you like a shadow.

Necromancy is especially bad. Many times the guys I have raised up with Dead Thrall often just disappear, especially the named ones.

Hope they fix this with the new dlc

Isent it obvs erik got his name killing your stray dog in a alternative reality creating a paradox where dogs are all ghosts and unable to see by the human eye and to fix this you must travel through the gates of hell and sell your soul to get into the other universe then you must jump in front of the arrow that erik fires and save the dog therefor making the other versian of your self able to buy dogs saving the galaxy from the end of the world.

Okay, so I fixed it.
I wasn't sure if I had found Meeko and told him to wait or not on this playthrough so I went to check.
Well, I didn't find him yet on this playthrough, found him on the road, followed him to his shack.
But for some reason I was able to ask him to follow me unlike the others.
I told him to go home, and I guess it reset itself. So now I can have other creatures follow me.

Possibly one of the dogs waited for one reason of a other and then got bored and left your command and returned home. Like normal followers

I can't.
That's the problem, it says he's with me but he's not.
But it doesn't matter. I fixed it. And I was joking about killing him, I was just frustrated lol

Phew !! Funnily enough if it was an in-game human I wouldn't have cared.

I was only joking as well, I don't really care if you kill a dog in a video game.
