where u go when u die

Post » Thu Jun 21, 2012 5:20 am

Ok got to thinking about doing the oblivion walker and gathering all the artifacts and wondered something but I cant remember. Did u promise ur soul to sheo at any poimt or does he have claims, because the way its looking if so, unfortuantly I see that we are going to his realm since its documanted that hes out witted and outbested the other daedras at their own game, and the ones he hasnt mere mortals have beated the ones he hasnt. Is there any record of sheo's defeat anywhere, not the being he was before. Just sheo himself.

Ever done the thieves guild quest? Don't wanna spoil it but lets just say your soul is needed elsewhere after you die.

as dragonborn, your soul belongs to akatosh.

But what if you become a werewolf... wouldn't your soul belong to hircine? If the dragonborn becomes a werewolf and chooses not to cure himself once he dies he will not go to Sovngarde.

What I was wondering, is what happens to your character's soul if he/she doesn't promise it to anyone? (and is not a Dovahkiin)

I tend to imagine the soul assuming you did all the quests being held up in the spiritual equivalent of legal litigation for a few hundred years

If the person who killed you is anything like my character, you'll likely end up being used to recharge an enchanted dagger ;)

Well technically loads of the Daedra have a claim to your soul. E.g Nocturnal and Hircine. However, I think akatosh has first dibs as he is a divine and so trumps the power of the demi god daedra.

Considering my character isn't the Dragonborne, but instead, a werewolf, he's heading off to Hircine's Happy Hunting Grounds. I've got another character who's headed off to Sheogorath's realm, he's more than happy to go there too.

If you sell your soul to a daedric prince, then you know very well where you're going. Daedra worshippers are going to oblivion. I heard that people get reincarnated if they're "good" but I don't have any solid evidence.

To the middle of an epic battle throughout the planes of Oblivion where all of the Daedric Princes fight each other because you've promised your soul to each of them at some point or other. OMG! Now I know how the Blood War started.

That would be the dreamsleeve though i don't think the deceased individuals morality effects them ending up there. here's a conversation from imperial library on it for those who have no idea what i'm talking about  http://imperial-library.info/ForumArchives/Concerning_the_Dreamsleeve.html

I've sold my soul so many times that there's going to be an epic bidding war.
