Where will the DovahKihn go when he dies?

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 4:37 pm

I have been promised to countless afterlives and I don't know where I will end up.

Hircine's hunting ground- werewolf
Sovngarde- They told me I was welcome
The void- Dark brotherhood
Nocturnal's plane- Nightingale.

Where am I going to end up?

Well... Nocturnals Plane isn't eternal, it's just Nightingale service for however long, I believe. I'm probably wrong.

The Hunting Ground over-rules Sovngarde, and I'm not really sure about the Void.

Hahahaha I love 'Sovngarde- They told me I was welcome'.
"Yo, I'm on the guest list, dawg,"

I want them to ascend my Dragonborn to God(dess)hood. Not that I'm pushy or overambitious or anything.

TES heroes, at least since Morrowind, have the habit of not dying. The Nerevarine stills runs around in Akavir, as far as we know, and the CoC is probably now the god of madness.

Since the Dovahkiin has devoured many dragon souls it's not clear if he even can die if his body is destroyed, some even think he will mantle Talos.

Aetherius. Sovngarde is a special place in Aetherius, the immortal plane.

This article explains it pretty well:

The main menu, i've seen it many times before. Dragonborn is sent to the main menu and asked if she would like to reload a saved game prior to death.

I like to imagine the Dragonborn being taken up into the universe, the
Spoiler
souls of the dragons
slain begin to take over his/her body, transforming into a Divine Dragon. I really have little to no knowledge of Daedra, Aedra, or that much lore of TES, so this only seems fitting for a Dragon Lord.

This has always made me wonder... are all these dragon souls my Dragonborn has stuffed into him ever going to cause any trouble? I mean there's 15-odd of them and I've only got the one soul, and even that is splintered by the various Daedric entities I've sworn service to. I don't even know if my Dovahkin will reach death intact, let alone Sovngarde.

I want to go to Sovangarde but werewolves go to the eternal hunt but I gave nocturnal my dead life in exchange for power while I'm the listener who is bound to Sithis but I'm the dragonborn.
If any of these Gods daedric or otherwise are on the forums I would appreciate some clarification.
Thanks.

When you think about it, you have raw power of dragons inside of you. I have to wonder if they would take advantage of your dead state and reanimate one's body in their form. I have to admit, I would very much enjoy the idea of being a dark blue Divine dragon, watching over the universe.

Immune to aging but not to swords and fireballs. The Nerevarine still has some kind of unknown adventure apperently and the CoC is a god, so it's possible that the Dovahkiin won't beat it so soon either.

If the Talos mantling theory will come true, you are more the creator of the universe's grandson/daughter and probably the most powerful beeing besides the two non-sentient "beeings" Anu and Padomay.

Tsun: "This was a mighty deed! The doom of Alduin encompassed at last, and cleansed is Sovngarde of his evil snare.

"They will sing of this battle in Shor's hall forever. But your fate lies elsewhere.

"When you have completed your count of days, I may welcome you again, with glad friendship, and bid you join the blessed feasting.

"When you are ready to rejoin the living, just bid me so, and I will send you back."
