I play both sides of the field. My soul goes wherever it wants. On my first playthrough I go with what feels right. Then I'll roleplay different characters with different motivations, who of course will have their own reasons for interacting with their world in a certain way.

Many different playthroughs takes care of that. I might actually be able to make it through an evil playthrough this time thanks to the main story not only moving forward with the good faction. Seriously, even if you worked with the Enclave you still had to kill most of them.

I'll probably be good when possible, but I will speak my mind and won't be afraid to take the dishonorable path if it works out better for me.

I won't try to play any specific karma level. I'll do whatever is more profitable, and what helps me survive.

This is a good policy, especially for this game. I'd like everyone to recall that Karma is de-emphasized in this game, and is simply a way to chart your actions by a moral compass, if you put stock in that sort of thing.

Rather than asking upon what side of the karmic scales will your soul reside, I think it would be a better question to ask what kind of a person will you be in the game.

Will you build an army of loyal followers and allies from whatever factions you support? Will you be a transient drifter who never stays in one place long enough to get caught up in politics? Will you be a neutral loner who just wants to ply his trade, whatever that may be, whether a merc for hire or vender of crafted goods?

Or will you be a hostile loner, more at home in the abandoned swaths of desert, preying upon all you see, only walking into a town with an open hand when you run out of milk?

These are the sort of questions you need to ask.

actually Buddha taught and practiced compassion for all(the higher, positive path :P) which is one of the main, strong focuses of the dharma (name of the teachings of Buddha)

just sayin

People are going to see her as misunderstood.
What I do will be considered good by my character, she sees nothing wrong in what she's doing.
But others will call her a monster and be scared [censored]-less when she roll into town.

I want to be good
Because i want to obey God by being a good person, in real life, and in virtual life (Really, if i play in an online game, i usually help the noobs and heal other people. That's the way to heaven  )
But, if i'm bored, i want to be neutral, like most of the humans :disguise: ...
And, if i want to find out what will happen if i'm evil, i will be evil  .
(P.S, I'm not a christian or a protestant or any christian sect. Just a fact. Peace...)

Hey... I want to be neutral :( meany...*sniffle-sniffle* haha =P jking but yeah I like to try and stay neutral for my first playthrough, they play one as I would do if it were me, then be a really goody two shoes, then an evil bastard, then from there I go with whatever I feel like.

I'm completely ignoring the Karma meter. I am designing all of my characters to have a faction that will most likely fit their worldview, but it won't necessarily end up that way. The ex-gang member that is not afraid to kill to get what he wants might not side with the Legion when it comes down to the decision.

When it comes to Karma I won't really care. New Vegas will have the reputation system back :D. Play a Character with a Good Reputation but Evil Karma

I'm basically going to be what i usually am, very evil and im going all out on a bad reputation as well. I guess what im trying to say is im going to kill a fair amount people regardless of faction.

So basically... You want to have every faction hate you? Interesting... to say the least.

I'm going to try and have every faction aside from the 'Evil' factions like me. But I'll try and keep Mr. House as the favored side for me. I enjoy the 'Heroic friend of the people' kind of characters.

Do you think Mr. House will really have the people's interests in heart or just turning a profit? I feel like he will try to use the courier to gain power.

I have five or six characters planned... But I think neutral for the first playthrough, seeing as it's the hardest for me to maintain...
