Where do you get Guild Master's Armor?

Post » Sat May 19, 2012 3:33 pm

I saw messing around and I saw some "Guild Master's armor" in the testing hall on my cheats save, I thought it looked alot like the stuff Mercer wears, so I thought...Where do you get this armor after becoming Guild Master?

I'll tell you, but it won't be fun. To get it you must complete One with the Shadows. You know those random, tedious quests you get from Delvin and Vex? You're going to be doing a lot of them (mostly just quitting the same jobs over and over because they're in a city you don't need). The best method I've read is to take both the Sweep and Bedlam jobs, as completing the Sweep will usually complete the Bedlam job as well. The jobs need to be in the same city, after completing enough jobs in a city you will get a special quest from Delvin to "retake" the city. After completing a special quest for a city do not do anymore quests there as it's a waste of time. You'll need to retake Whiterun, Solitude, Markarth, and Windhelm. Once you do that you'll be promoted to the Guild Leader and receive the armor.

I thought this was poorly designed and I'm very disappointed with the Thieves Guild this time around... The Dark Brotherhood as well.

thought TDB was actually pretty good and the rewards(hourse+dagger) were great, was a bit disappointed by the armor but oh well. TG quests were fun, but this part is really really annoying, taking me a very long time, so im not entirely sure if i will switch to the college for now.

bedlam + sweep is definitly the way to do it thou.
