which city have you still not visited

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 8:51 pm

This is interesting, after 200 hours of playing a new character, finished the main quest and companions and did most of the side quests in skyrim, i realised i havent been to Markarth yet, which surprised me because i didnt realise it. What city have you not visited after significant hours of gameplay?

None. I have visited them all. Many times. All the towns and mills, too.

Rorikstead. That's a town. But nevertheless I've never been there.

I built a home in Rorikstead. It's a nice little place on a hill overlooking the town. Kind of behind the inn. I often use the Alternate Start mod to begin my games as a patron of that inn.

It's a nice little place. You should visit it some time.

It always seems that the Markarth is the last of the Big Five that I visit. Dunno why...

Even now, the Reach seems to be the most barren of all the holds in terms of visited marked locations.

Markarth remained unvisited by my first character for a long time. Did patch 1.5 mark all the cities on the map? Because that was under 1.4, and I don't remember even seeing Markarth as a waypoint then (until I got there).

I visit Markarth fairly early in my game,

Spoiler

either for the dwemer ruin or the sanguine daedric artifact.

Also it's a nice trading city with many shops.

Mind if I stop by later? Perhaps we can catch up over a glass of wine!

I've been to them all now, but I also took awhile to get around to Markarth and it was the last one I saw. For my second character I went there first and bought my house there.

I was forced to go to Markarth. Otherwise I visited all cities and towns fairly quickly, though I didn't visit Solitude until I was finished with the Civil War questline.

Accidentaly gone there once as part of a quest, looked around quickly @ night but I haven't really seen it yet. I always avoid certain places to keep me playing this game

Across four characters and 200+ hours of gameplay, I've never been to Windhelm. None of my characters have fully explored the ENTIRE map, even combined.

My first character destroyed the dark brotherhood so I never had any reason to go to Dawnstar. As for the big five it's almost always Markarth, unless you do missions for the Thieves Guild there's just nothing sending you up there (save 1 or 2 pick-up missions, or a night out on the town  ). It's sad because it's one beautiful city!

but the moment you enter the city..

Spoiler
1 sec later, some woman got chopped by forsworn or if she survived, 5min later you still get thrown into the jails where you either help that corrupted king or chop the king and r@pe the silverblood wimp. YOU CALL THAT BEAUTIFUL?!?!?!?!?!

I've been everywhere, but Karthwasten (village in the Reach) i think i've only visited once.

Makarth is my least favorite city though. Cannibals, corruption and a lot falling down with auto-running :pinch:
