Which feature in Skyrim do you think is the most well doneim

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 2:27 am

I don't have any reason for this thread other than curiosity and hiding those negative threads, but whatever...
So which skills, quests, housing, or any other feature in Skyrim do you find very well done and implemented in the game? For example which feature do you think is immersive, fun, bug free or anything you value in a game? There's been quite a bit of dumbing down in Skyrim from past games in my opinion, but there are quite a few things I can think of that are a huge improvement over the last games.

To me, I find the stealth system in Skyrim very well done and a massive improvement over Morrowind and Oblivion(the stealth in it was done well also). I liked the sneak perks, assassination kill moves, and the way things effected your ability to sneak such as armour weight, sound, and shadows. I'm glad melee weapons were given a lot more love in stealth as well like how there is that 15x backstab damage that is pretty much an instant kill for most NPC's. It was a wonderfully implemented skill and playing a stealth character can make Skyrim feel like a completely different game at times.

So what do you think is one of or the best features in the game?

Lots of good things. But nothing stands out. Let's just say the beauty of the world

Honestly, I can say that it is pretty. I like the concept of Perks, but they could have done a lot more with it. I like the concept they went with for magic, but again they stopped short. I like the idea of the followers, but even those aren't very capable.

All in all, I think they did lots and lots of things, all of which are less than they could be. I'm not really blow away by anything, really.

But... it is pretty.

Archery is very well done, as is sneak. Those are the best 'features', in terms of how they're implemented.
The people are also amazing as well. Not just in terms of looks, but how nearly all of them have unique dialogue.

Dungeon diving! Really the largest improvement in the game for me. Dwemer ruins can get nasty fast.

Oh, and dynamic snow is pretty nice too! The rainy days and the fog, blizzards, thunderstorms, weather systems feel more alive and are a huge improvement in the series and remarkably well done in a world as large as Skyrim! Lol to anyone who thinks otherwise. I despise the fact that it never rains in the Fallout series.

Pretty much everything that they've done is great; the only way it could be better is if they brought back some of the more popular features from the last two games that were left out.

Err their dialogue is "unique" until you hear them say the same lines every time you walk by them..

True, it'd be more realistic if they simply greeted you when you walked by, but it's better than them saying the same rumor as one another in the same voice as one another over and over. And if you talk to them you'll discover they have more than one line each.

My favorite would have to be the scenery as well, it's just a beautiful land.

Best implemented "thing" the Skyrim world. That is to say graphics and landscapes.

Like many other people here, I have to say the graphics.

It's a very pretty game.

The fact that they managed to make dungeons fun to explore, unlike oblivion.

I give a lot of laughs with the ragdolls animations... just dropping a dead body from the top of waterfalls or mountains, watch it fall and hit trees, rocks, so funny :D... or fus ro dahing them through windows and such.
