Which one-handed perks work with daggers?

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 10:53 am

I overheard that one handed perks don't affect knives. If this is true, which perks are/aren't effected so I know what to spend points on? I'm about to start a new character who's instead of going all defensive, is going all offencive. I'm going to use mainly
Spoiler
The blade of woe with Lord Dagon's razor, and circumstantially the Nightingale bow.

ps did they fix the shout that allows you to swing your weapons faster so it works on enchanted items? I appreciate any advice.

Daggers are classed as 1H weapons, so all perks should effect them as expected. I've seen no evidence to the contrary other then people's baseless words.

All the perks work as far as I am aware. The issue is that +1h enchants dont seem to work on the offhand weapon iirc.

I guess I was misinformed. "One handed perks don't increase damage for daggers because it would make the x30 damaged even more overpowered."

I guess that's good to know. :) I'll gladly sharpen my enchanted blades to maximize the pain.

One handed fortify ENCHANTMENTS and POTIONS do not effect daggers - oddly enough, potions of fortify archery do.

Also I have tested it quite a bit and I'm positive dual flurry does not affect dagger. The dagger power attack combo doesn't seem to change noticably, while dual swords with the perk pull off the move in a flash.

Wait you serious? *curses like an injured sailor*
No wonder fighting with dagger was such a pain in the [censored]. I gave up on them and switched back to swords for regular fighting and only using daggers for sneak kills. Good the know the reason as to why my dagger was doing such crap damage when it wasn't a sneak attack

*annoyed ninja cat is very annoyed.*
