What's up everybody,

So I haven't played Skyrim for a long time, and I figured I'd play it again. I was hoping to continue the game with my assassin/thief character because I was stuck at the Whispers in the dark quest for the Dark Brotherhood. Even after all that time the quest still doesn't work, and I can't get a side contract from Nazir. Is there still no fix for this, or am I just an idiot? Xbox 360 by the way.

Patches work on new games, and rarely on old savegames that feature a bug.
The best you can do is start a new game and see if the bug persists.

I dont know if this particuar bug has been adressed.
Make sure to make a hard save before you go near the quest so that you have something to fall back on.
