So I walked into a cave, White River watch, and was stopped by a
Spoiler
blind man named Ulfr the blind
I was wondering if any of you killed him? I feel kinda bad for him even though he's a bandit.

Well if you leave him be and kill everyone else, he'll be alone. How is he supposed to get out, find food and water and survive?

He has some food in his inventar i am sure. ;) Well you could leave him something there. Would just be some kind of imagination that he is actually using it. But also would it be imaginatiion that he dies because he don't find food.

As above.. I sliced him, end of story.. I aint want him backstabbing me or using some magical vision to find me and hurl me a fireball.. I don't trust anything starting with "Bandit" :)

If you are pulling our leg... well done

If you are not then you are nicest person I have ever seen in this forum.

I farmed him for the sneak experience. Think about it--the guy's blind and he never, ever gets up from that chair unless he happens to find himself under attack. Easiest 100 skill in the game.

I know but I don't do that. It's the moral decision I'm struggling with :P

I kill him to put him out of his misery and that was not really a spoiler just so you know.

I think killing him is the compationate thing to do,because as you said if he is left alone he will be without food and water.
No food and water and without anyone to take care of him means he will most likely die anyhow.
That said my last evil character left him to his fate.

Depends on the character, my Assassin/Thief killed him without a second thought, my Paladin let him live and even brought food to him before I left.

I have to agree with this, that it depend on the character you're playing.
As for me, I still have the same moral issue as you do. :)
If I manage to sneak by him I probably won't kill him, and maybe even bring him food on my way out. But if he attacks me, I won't hesitate with killing him to save my own life.

Well, I'm a good hearted ranger/archer so I guess I should kill him so he doesn't die a slow and painful death.

Then you must have one hell of a bow! :o You know, to kill him instantly and without pain. :)

I haven’t killed him yet. He’s no danger to me, and if he wants to die he can do it himself.

I feel much too bad for him. The other bandits pull tricks on him, and he has a book in front of him that has nothing written in it. I just felt too much pity to kill him.

I struggled with killing him or not until he detected one of my characters and ran away then came back with some of the bandits. That's when i decided that from now on he gets an arrow in the head. I've visited almost every location on the map so i pretty much know who to just kill right from the start because you'll probably have to kill him/her anyway
